Additional Information

Atlas Mountains 4-day trek in Morocco: Standing atop the mountain peak allows your thoughts to expand. This slightly intense 4-day exploration of the Atlas Mountain peaks comprises more rising and falling trails than some of our alternative paths, offering numerous opportunities for mental relaxation. The verdant hues of juniper and pine soon give way to the earthen tones of age-old homes and tiered corn and barley fields, perfectly illustrating the blend of culture and nature. Berber communities are agricultural societies, with their terraced crop fields playing a vital part in their daily life and economy. An intricate network of irrigation channels ensures a constant supply of vital water to these settlements. As you navigate the trek, it’s fascinating to witness how the locals exploit the steep terrains for optimal utilization. Each field possesses a unique characteristic, despite their apparent similarities.
