A taste of sunshine - We went into the Amico office in Dubrovnik wanting to do a number of trips which in Dubrovnik for 10 days. We like a glass of wine so we’re keen to do some wine tasting. After some discussions, we booked for the half day trip to Trebinje and Tvrdos Monastery but the Amico team were able to tailor the trip and add an extra local winery stop which is not normally part of the tour - the office team are really flexible to your needs. A passionate local guide told us all about the history of his town of Trebinje before we joined him for a chat at his local cafe - really got a feel for local life and the passion he has for his towns history. We then headed onto the Monastery which was beautiful with a tradition of wine making dating back centuries. We sampled some of their wines and visited the ancient wine cellars - delicious wines and a beautiful location. We then went onto the added Berak local winery in Trebinje and was wonderful to be welcomed by the family to their home where the wine was made in the traditional way. The family provided bread, meat and cheese to accompany the generous wine samples and our Amico driver translated and asked questions - was a fabulous experience. Really recommend the trip and Amico Tours, thank you for another great trip

Very good your! - Really good trip with a knowledgeable guide. He knew the history of the region really well. Navigated the border easily and then a short drive to the monastery for wine tasting and viewing the property. Time in Trebinje was also really good with a local guide who also knew his history. Ended with a drive up to the overlook over old town. Worth the time to see something different.

A magical spring day in Bosnia - My daughter and I decided to book this tour to get outside of Dubrovnik after several days of rain. The day we went was sunny and felt like spring! Gabrijel met us with a luxury sedan and we traveled in style across the border to Bosnia, while he told us about the surrounding areas, its history, language and culture and answered our many questions. The stop at the Tvrdos Monastery was magical. We toured the grounds and tasted four delicious wines hosted by Miroslav. Then we drove on to Trebinje where we were met by Markos who led us around the old town and other parts of the city and told us all about the history of the region. We visited an Orthodox Church before heading back to Dubrovnik. Gabrijel then drove us to the top of the hill overlooking Dubrovnik where we took in the breathtaking view of the city, old town and the Adriatic. He then delivered us nearly to our door. All in all, a wonderful day. We are so glad we did it and would heartily recommend Gabrijel's and his company to any future visitors to this beautiful part of the world.

Good if you want a quick look at bosnia - First of all Gabrielle was a fantastic host, driver, tour guide. Fun, knowledgeable and perfect for his job, thank you. The monk monastery was really pretty and a good stop. Trebneje is a waste of time. There's nothing to see. Old town isn't very old looking and took 20 minutes to look at, the surrounding areas have 2 churches..... and a small park. There really is nothing there and the info centre never took cards or euros so you can't even buy a souvenir. The second family run winery was pretty too but the host really had no interest in us being there. Choose another one.
