Bellissimo tours - We are. We went for the tour with the salt pans at sunset, very convenient the fact that they pick you up directly from the hotel, then we made an extra stop to see the fenicocon the telescope and finally we arrived at the salt pans, beautiful experiences to be redone.

Fabulous experience - I loved the way the tour is organized. It's a new experience for me. Watching flamingos visiting saltpans, an individual wind mill guide for me, excellent work. And the sunset pictures absolutely gorgeous. Thank you.

Nice view - Very happy with the Flamingo Way service, punctual, and the driver was professional and very friendly, we were entitled to 1 small souvenir.
Nice little excursion of more or less 2h30 where we were able to see salt mills and also discover the history of this place. We were lucky to be able to see 2 pink flamingos.

It was alright, but it is... - It was alright, but it is not the best option for non Italian speaker as they will not split one group for english speaker. Can try and rent and ride a bike to the salt pan if you are not renting a car

Disappointing - This was disappointing all around. First I waited 25 minutes at the pickup point. We slowly rode to the salt pans with some recorded voice narration. We were dropped at the side of the road to walk and look at some salt pans, then picked up and driven the rest of the way to the museum. The museum itself is interesting. However, the driver left us there after, stating he would be back in an hour to an hour and a half. All in all, the trip door to door was over 3.5 hours for approximately 30 interesting minutes

Make your own way to the visitor centre - Not worth the money. Make your own way there to the visitor centre for the informative talk by the guide from the visitor centre. There’s not much to the tour at all. If you can go to the salt pans at Marsala it’s worth it because they have a much better visitor centre and there’s the nearby Phoenician island of Mozia to visit. It’s really close and there are constant trips out by small boat ever day. We had been told that our group was the only group that was on the Trapani salt pan tour but there were several other groups on the mini bus when we got picked up and also at the visitor centre talk too. This wasn’t a big problem but was not as advertised.

A completely unnecessary tour, check out the museum yourself! - I'll start with the only good thing about this trip: the museum is charming and the explanation given in English was excellent! We learned so much with an interesting visit, with humor and great knowledge from the museum’s guide. But, you can get to this museum independently with a car and taxi and book a tour of the museum directly from them. Beyond that., about the tour: It was simply unnecessary. The car that picked us up had an antipathetic driver who didn't speak a word of English, and every time we got out of the car, he smoked in our faces. He also didn’t explain why the car stopped , if we should get down or anything else. The explanations given inside the car were recorded, monotonous, and incomprehensible. Boring. Just a series of facts from Wikipedia, and the volume was too loud. The "Flamingo Road" is beautiful, but we didn't see a single bird. And you can get to it alone, because it's next to the museum. Don’t waste your money on this tour, book a visit in the museum directly with them.
