• Salina Calcara - “Salina Chiusicella,” features a description of the four orders of salt tanks (the transformation of sea water into salt…). Opportunities to spot flamingos, herons, egrets, and Italian avocets.
• Saline Culcasi - The final salt pan (Culcasi) offers entry into an ancient mill over 600 years old, now a museum, to learn about salt collection, its operation, various tools, hierarchies, the role of salt in this area, and the differences between past and present.
  Visitors will taste different types of salt crystals and the most precious part, the salt flower, both natural and flavored with orange, lemon, rosemary, oregano, etc. Finally, they will embark on “the path of the saltman,” a captivating walk inside the salt tanks.
