Excellent tour and service - Vito was a wonderful tour guide. Very knowledgeable and a nice person too! I was picked up from my hotel, which was not in the city centre, which made things easier for me. There was only one other couple on the tour, who were very nice, so it was a very personal tour! I highly recommend this tour and. Ito as guide to anyone wanting to see Castel del Monte and as a bonus, the cathedral of Trani.

Fun in the sun in Italy - We love our guide Itanata. She was friendly and knowledgeable. Itanata asked us what we wanted to get out of our tour and she delivered. It was so much fum to see the CdM and visit Trani. One of the highlights was lunch with her at a very nice seafood restaurant. We look forward to coming back to Italy and doing more tours with her.

Trani and Castel Del Monte - It happened to be a holiday when we visited this lovely port city of Trani, so we got to see a marching band and fireworks - first time we ever saw fireworks during the day. Natalia, our most knowledgeable guide, told us a lot about the history of the area as well as the wonderfully preserved 13th century castle. I highly recommend this tour.

after the pearl Polignano another jewel is to be discovered: Trani - Thanks to Amici di Bisceglie we got to know the nearby art city of Trani better, which I knew was famous for its particular type of marble (Trani stone), but not for the rich production of extra virgin olive oil and its good Moscato wine
Also pleasant... is the large and fresh... municipal villa (especially these days after the lunch break...) which extends onto a terrace overlooking the sea and is surrounded by greenery, but... going down towards the beautiful tourist port formed by a natural inlet enclosed by two piers...
the seaside Cathedral of San Nicola Pellegrino stands out, one of the first wonders of the city of Trani which is considered one of the most famous churches in Puglia

FUN IN THE SUN!! - We went on a private tour of the Castle and Trani. The castle had great views and Trani had gorgeous views of the marina. WE even had lunch on the water overlooking the beautiful boats. We had some delicious gelato too!
Vito entertained us with stories about Italians and their culture. He's so interesting and has so much knowledge. It's clear he's been a tour guide for many years and is a professional. We highly recommend Vito's tour services. He's the BEST!

The best way to see these sites - This is the best, and most efficient, way to see these sites. We were in the company of our travel guide, Vito, who took us through the Italian countryside directly to Castel del Monte where he gave is context and appreciation of this monumental building. He then took us to Trani where we saw the papal buildings and the magnificent cathedral--unfortunately closed for renovation. The exterior however was awesome particularly since it was built along the seafront, and has a spectacular setting. Do go and get Vito as your tour guide--you'll love the day outside of Bari.

Tour was catered to guide’s needs and not the guests - We liked seeing the castle and Trani but would have enjoyed the tour more if we were given free time to explore on our own rather than just listen to the guide and then leave. The tour started with Vito being 15 minutes late then we had to stop and put gas in the car. He controlled the air in the car by rolling the windows up and down and didn’t ask us about our comfort level. He turned the radio on in the car but again didn’t ask our opinion or preference. He was also on his phone a lot. It all felt very disconnected. It was difficult to have a conversation with him and his answers to questions were brief. Sadly, we didn’t enjoy our tour experience.

I lost one day during my travel to Italy once that was I had planned for that day...
