Afterwards, a short 10-minute trip will take us to the charming Gramvousa Island. Here, you’ll have an hour to hike, explore the fortress, and capture stunning panoramic views. While creating unforgettable memories, savor some delicious Cretan flavors we’ve prepared for you, along with refreshing drinks. Next, a 15-minute journey will bring us to Agios Sozon, a place where the serene atmosphere captivates and the wild nature soothes the soul. The pristine, clear waters make it perfect for swimming. We’ll spend approximately 50 minutes here, enjoying its natural beauty and tranquility. Our delightful cruise concludes with a 15-minute return trip to our starting point.

Fantastic experience! - From start to finish the experience was fantastic! Communication was great and hassle free. We booked a private tour to Balos and Gramvousa Island and so glad we did. Seeing the larger tour ships docking just as we were leaving showed we made the right decision (it felt like I was watching a game of Lemmings with a constant flow people walking off the boat).
We were warned the water could be “choppy” but we wanted to proceed. Alex was a great captain and clearly knows the waters, reading and riding the waves was one of the favourite parts of the trip for our children!
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

Spectacular Boat Tour with Chania Sea Experience! - This morning, our group of seven had an absolutely unforgettable experience with Chania Sea Experience Boat Tours! We embarked on a 4-5 hour journey aboard a stunning 10-meter Rib boat, exploring the breathtaking Balos Lagoon, Agios Sozon, Gramvousa Island, and secluded private beaches. The trip included a skilled skipper, plenty of drinks (water, soft drinks, beers, wine), a delicious light lunch, and snorkeling gear—everything was perfectly organized!
The entire team was exceptional, with their kindness and attentiveness making us feel so welcome. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, ensuring a seamless and memorable adventure.
A special shoutout to our incredible skipper, Alex, who made this trip truly spectacular. His dedication, spot-on recommendations, and ability to pick unique, picturesque stops took the experience to another level. Alex’s passion for the sea and warm personality made every moment special.

Great boat trip to beautiful Balos! - Konstantinos arranged everything well and clearly for us. He arranged delicious food and drinks for us (and asked in advance what we liked) and we had an unforgettable day with Alex to the beautiful Balos. Very nice stops and opportunity to snorkel. The day was perfect!

Best Trip Ever!! - The TRIP was absolutely amazing!! He had a blast with Angelos! Words cannot describe how much fun we had. The people and the views were amazing. I would surely recommend this to family and friends.

Amazing experience! - There is a reason why they get 5 stars. Our family booked the Balos Beach/ Gramvousa island tour and we had a wonderful time. Our captain was so friendly and informative. The boat was big enough that we all had plenty of room and we were all very comfortable. Lunch was provided along with plenty of drinks for both adults and teens. We arrived before the crowds and seemingly had the entire beach to ourselves. Balos Beach must be seen to be believed. We have traveled extensively and this is one of the most beautiful beaches we have ever seen. The scenery is spectacular. Skip the giant tour boats packed with strangers and book with Chania Sea Experience!

Expert captain for a very bespoke experience! We loved every minute of it! - This was a very bespoke trip to a gorgeous cove and island. Our captain Alex was clearly an expert and gave attention to every detail while keeping everything safe and organized . He timed everything perfectly to avoid crowds and give us enough time to tour the Island and explore the castle. He provided snacks, lunch and plenty of water and beverages, and also played great music! Very efficient trip from beginning to end ! Loved it !!

Excellent Boat Tour of Gramvousa and Balos Beach - This was a fabulous tour. Our operator, Alex, made sure we had the best experience. He made sure we visited the places before they got too busy and took us to a more private location which was beautiful. We could not have asked for a better experience.

Beautiful Boat Trip – Even Better Than We Expected! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - This boat trip completely exceeded our expectations! We started at Gramvousa Beach — the ocean was crystal clear and the scenery absolutely stunning. The ride was smooth and relaxing.
We spent two lovely hours at Balos Beach, followed by an easy, tasty dinner with drinks on board. The day ended at a quiet, private spot to watch the sunset — a truly magical moment.
A big part of what made the trip so special was the captain — super chill, fun, and easy to talk to. He let us decide how long we wanted to stay at each place and when to head back, which made the whole experience feel really relaxed and personal.
Everything was well-organized and effortless. A wonderful, memorable day we’d absolutely recommend to anyone!

We recommend! - We had a great time! A superb afternoon with the family! The boat is very clean, spacious, well equipped and pleasant for the excursion with family or friends!

Excellent captain and beautiful views - Fantastic trip and Alex our captain was a gracious and engaging host and we learned a lot from him. Good sense of humor! The weather was perfect and he made sure that we knew that the schedule was up to us. First stop at the castle - big hike up the mountain but so worth it, the views were amazing. The Balos lagoon was very interesting and a great place to hang out for a while. Finished up with two areas that were not full of people and a great end of the trip.
