You will be impressed by its 426 rooms and its 282 fireplaces. Your tour guide will show and explain it’s mind blowing double helix staircase, probably a Leonardo da Vinci creation. The forest in which it is in is a national game reserve.

A Great Day in the Loire! - We took a high speed train from Paris and met the tour guide and group in Tours, a little over an hour train ride. It was a spectacular day! Ingrid was our small group (7 in the mini-van plus Ingrid) guide and she was simply fantastic! She was quite knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. The two chateau visits were very fun and educational and the wine tasting was one of the best we have ever experienced. Although we accomplished a lot, the pace did not seem too aggressive. I highly recommend this wonderful tour!

Chateaux and wine o'clock - Nice amount of time in each chateau and the wine cave was interesting. Our guide Killyian had loads of info and with just 2 couples on the tour , it was comfortable and very enjoyable

Fantastic tour - This was a great tour! Worth the money! I was coming in from Paris on the train, cutting it really close. Everything went smoothly until I got to the train station and there were no taxis. In a panic and not realizing I could have called an uber, I called the company and they graciously sent the tour guide to come pick me up! It was great service! The tour itself with Killian was fantastic. He is so knowledgeable and shared interesting facts, never repeating himself. He is also funny, personable and professional. The wine tasting portion was also so fantastic! I learnt a lot and the lunch afterwards was delicious. Chambord was my favourite visit. Tour was very worth it to get to see the main castles and the wine caves! Very cool start to finish.

Wonderful Experience on Day Tour of Loire Valley Castles - Ingrid was a great tour guide. She was very knowledgeable, fun, enthusiastic and kind. I enjoyed that the group was small and it felt like we formed a little "family" while we were on the tour. It sure was wonderful to get into the castles with our guide without having to wait in line. I would highly recommend this tour!

Great Tour and Tour Guide - Killian was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable, professional and has a kind disposition. His positive energy and jokes elevated the mood of the tour and we recommend him to others. :)

Long day - This was a lot to squeeze in one day. The castles were beautiful and the wine tasting was well done. Unfortunately both castles were quite crowded and we felt rushed to get from place to place. Our tour group included a young family with small children. This was a very very long day for the children and the other members of the tour. I would not recommend families do a 9 hour tour with small children. It’s not fun for them or the other guests.

Disappointing - The guide was clearly inexperienced, lacked basic knowledge of the sites visited,, didn't communicate well. The timings on the trip were unbalanced.

Wish I had to do it better again - Tour Guide was a nice lady but we couldn’t understand her English and she was scripted. You asked something outside her script and got little reply.

Unable to understand tour guide - Horrible experience. Could understand probably 10 percent of what the tour guide said due to very thick French accent and language barrier. The guide didn’t even introduce herself at pick-up, van window was so dirty with bird poop you couldn’t see out of window. We were told we were being picked up in black Mercedes van - turned out to be silver Volkswagen. The guide was not friendly and not good at her job. She also had horrible body odor. It was an unfortunate waste of a day of our very short four days in France and a complete waste of money- total bummer. Only reprieve was the two hour cave and wine tasting tour in which the guide was engaging and understandable. Very disappointed Viator!!!
