Highlights
  • Chateau de Chenonceau - The Chateau of Chenonceau is the most visited castle in the Loire Valley. It is unique for many reasons. It is nicknamed “the ladies chateau” because Its owners had only been women. It has gorgeous Renaissance gardens. It is set like a bridge across the Cher River.
  • Caves Ambacia - You will enjoy a guided tou and wine tating at Caves Duhard where you will have a cheese and wine tasting in a limestone cave winery on white wines
  • Chateau de Chambord - You will discover the Hunting lodge built by King Francois I, it is the largest chateau and the most spectacular piece of architecture. Awesome day tour of the Chateaux’s in the Loire Valley - The day tour of the Chateaux’s was perfect ! Marion, our Guide, was exceptional. She was patient, on time, knowledgeable and a good driver. The wine tasting was good fun and Thomas, our Sommelier was a real expert and kept the wine tasting interesting & entertaining. I highly recommend this tour when visiting the Loire Valley with limited time.

Charlene was great! - Charlene was a fantastic tour guide! She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great day even though we were severely jet lagged and fell asleep in the car multiple times. She knew lots of facts about the chateaus and it was a great decision to take this tour. Highly highly recommend

Great tour - excellent wine tasting experience - Charlene, our tour guide, was informative, great company and very patient with my husband, who suffered from a bad back. The wine tasting was the best we ever had. Pascal gave a fabulous presentation with very interesting history, and rhe wine tasting was an education in itself. Each wine was appropriately paired with specific cheeses and meats and we had good introduction to "assessing" wines. The "smell" test before the tasting was a brilliant way to teach us how to identify aromas. This is a fantastic tour, not to be missed if you are only visiting the region for a couple.of days.

Best two Chateaus in the Loire with wine! - I think this tour combined the two most popular Chateaus and a nice visit to a wine cave and tasting. Our guide had some good knowledge of some history but was a little shaky on some points i brought up. I think a guide should try to thoroughly learn not only her standard script but study a bit more to round out her presentation. It was an all day tour with a break for lunch in the perfect French town of Amboise .

Perfect day out - We had an amazing day with miss Marie from France Intense, we visited Chateaux Chenonceau, Chateau Chambord and as an in between a very fine wine tasting and lunch at Caves Ambacia, miss Marie is very knowledgeable and brings it with a lot of enthusiasm and passion, it shows in her stories. Also the staff at the caves (hope you have Mr. Pascal who’s passion for his beautiful product really shows), made our day, we had an amazing day out. Even though the weather was a bit rainy, we loved every second and truly believe it is worth every penny. We went home with good memories, new knowledge, some amazing wines and best of all, a reason to come back and explore the beautiful region a bit more with this amazing company, Thank you for a lovely day, et au revoir !

Not as good as we anticipated for $$$. - The wine tasting in the cave in Amboise was very good— we learned more than we expected. But the very nice young woman who was our guide provided minimal information about the area and did not seem interested in history. We were disappointed.

Too much transport - Winetesting was good, but could have been done by meself as it was a separate guide. Our guide was sweet but her guding was very poor an with an English hard to understand. Too much transport at too little time at the castles we visited.
