Tinos is home to Greece’s most significant church, the impressive ‘Evangelistria,’ built for the miraculous icon ‘Megalochari.’ It is a pilgrimage destination for Greeks worldwide. You’ll have the opportunity to admire the white and grey marbles that adorn Buckingham Palace and the Louvre in Paris. At the Monastery of Kechrovouni, take time to enjoy its picturesque views and stunning architecture. In Pyros, also known as the town of marble, we’ll visit a marble artist in his workshop. Explore Volax, renowned for its basket weaving tradition and the large granite rocks that dominate the landscape. Back in Tinos Town, you’ll have free time for shopping and relaxation before we return to Mykonos.
