Fantastic time! - Booked in my children for 3 days of lessons. They thoroughly enjoyed it and improved a lot during those 3 days! Highly recommend!

Positive first surf lesson - Had a great time on our Surf lesson with Oscar. Ended up being a private lesson with just my friend and I as it was a 10am session on a public holiday (November 2025.) The 2hrs felt generous as a learner and a positive atmosphere overall. They have hot showers we used afterwards and change rooms/lockers. Would highly recommend!

The absolute best!! - Our group had an amazing experience at Torquay Surfing Academy. We brought a large group with a variety of physical abilities and from beginning to end we were treated with incredible patience and kindness. I’ve previously used a number of different surf schools for our group and I will never again go anywhere else.

If you're in Torquay, visit the Surfing Academy - Right from the moment you walk through the door they are so welcoming. They know exactly what they're doing and make it as easy and quick as possible to get down to the beach and enjoy the surfing. We went on a public holiday and the beach was packed but somehow Alessandro managed to keep an eye on us all and give individual tuition once we were in the water. The whole family had a great time as absolute beginners and we would definitely go back to the Surfing Academy next time.

Lovely staff. Class are... - Lovely staff. Class are in small groups which gives the opportunity to get the best out of it. My son loved it and we are planning to go back with some friends :)

Loved the surf lesson. Wonderful experience. - Thank you so much to the team at Torquay Surf Acadamy. Tony was a very experienced teacher and was great with our kids. He spent the whole time in the water helping them to get up on the board.

Great experience - We took our 3 older boys and they enjoyed it immensley. The process of booking was simple and quick and the staff were all extemely helpfull and polite.

Surf lesson with Tony Ray - Tony provided good guidance for the boys and surfing techniques. Great learning experience with Tony! They will bring along this skill to other surfing experience.
