The absolute best!! - Our group had an amazing experience at Torquay Surfing Academy. We brought a large group with a variety of physical abilities and from beginning to end we were treated with incredible patience and kindness. I’ve previously used a number of different surf schools for our group and I will never again go anywhere else.

If you're in Torquay, visit the Surfing Academy - Right from the moment you walk through the door they are so welcoming. They know exactly what they're doing and make it as easy and quick as possible to get down to the beach and enjoy the surfing. We went on a public holiday and the beach was packed but somehow Alessandro managed to keep an eye on us all and give individual tuition once we were in the water. The whole family had a great time as absolute beginners and we would definitely go back to the Surfing Academy next time.

Lovely staff. Class are... - Lovely staff. Class are in small groups which gives the opportunity to get the best out of it. My son loved it and we are planning to go back with some friends :)

Loved the surf lesson. Wonderful experience. - Thank you so much to the team at Torquay Surf Acadamy. Tony was a very experienced teacher and was great with our kids. He spent the whole time in the water helping them to get up on the board.

Great experience - We took our 3 older boys and they enjoyed it immensley. The process of booking was simple and quick and the staff were all extemely helpfull and polite.

Fun experience - Second time having lessons for kids ages 12 years. Today was the perfect experience for my son’s birthday with his mates. Very friendly staff, instructors are patient and fun.

Best part of our vacation - First time trying surfing, what an awesome experience. Brad was great, and had my sons up and riding waves within the first few minutes. They provided all necessary equipment we just needed to show up and have fun

Amazing - My instructor was Kev, an incredibly passionate, knowledgeable and patient instructor who was genuinely interested in getting the best out of you. He made the difference between giving up and getting hooked on surfing. He’s seriously the yoda of surf instructing. Would highly recommend 🙌
