Thumbs up for this tour - Graham was exceptional and very knowledgeable as our guide. He was engaging, funny and made all of us comfortable to be an extrovert or introvert. Hopefully Graham will succeed in bringing Fawltly Towers the recognitition it rightly deserves as a tourist attraction to Torquay

Recommended for all Fawlty addicts! - The fact that this is a walking tour might suggest that you visit filming locations - not so, as none of Fawlty Towers was filmed in Torquay. The purpose of the walk seems just to be a way of breaking the presentation into manageable pieces, and that aspect works very well. Plus, a walk on the Torquay seafront is always pleasant. Our tour guide Graham was very personable and knowledgeable, and I learned quite a bit about the John Cleese/Connie Booth back-story and how Fawlty Towers was conceived. There are numerous opportunities to get involved as Graham has a sheaf of script-extracts so that memorable scenes can be re-enacted. I have to admit I grabbed the chance to “channel my inner Basil” but, if getting involved is not your thing, there is absolutely no pressure, just let others get on with it!

A perfectly Fawltyless Experience - On a scorchio day in Torquay two ladies of a certain age ( long time school pals) had a few hours of laughter, shenanigans ( acting & singing) and gaining unknown facts on a series that brought catchphrases to their teenage years. Graham 'Fawlty' Kerr brought to life the man that was Basil Fawlty ( a distant relative by all accounts) and of course Sybil Fawlty, Polly Sherman, The Major, Miss Tibbs and Miss Gatsby , Mrs Richards and Manuel. These long lost characters came back as clear as day as we walked , laughed, chatted & re-enacted long forgotten scenes. We were so fortunate that even though only us two were the tour participants Graham was happy to do the tour and we had a BLAST. I would recommend joining any of the walking tours this friendly, knowledgeable, fun guy offers. He may start as the Tour Guide but he ends as one of your mates. This was an afternoon we shall remember for a long long time. I still can't believe I sang, we acted and all in the outdoor sunshine at the seaside....no shyness here. Thankyou so much Graham we loved our time reminisving over Basil and Co...oh and remember Don't Mention The War.
