Really great experience!... - Really great experience! Me and my mom both agreed this was our favorite part of our trip to Toronto. Would highly recommend for any history buffs or tourists looking for a unique experience. Our guide was knowledgeable and made the tour fun!

Uncovers the TRUE history of Toronto - The tour was amazing! It uncovered the hidden underbelly of Toronto that is still there, lingering underfoot today that hardly anyone knows or thinks about. It was an amazing lesson on the REAL history of the city that gives insight into the people who built this city that we SHOULD be talking about. It offered a view of how life was like for the sex workers in the city throughout history, and explored the true impact they left on the city that we can still see today, but have to dig to find. The tour director was amazing, very knowledgeable and passionate about spreading the awareness of this message. An overall 10/10 experience!

If you only take one history tour…. - This is perhaps the best historical walking tour I’ve ever gone on, and I’ve gone on a few! More than just a “titillating” history of the sex trade, LK shows how Toronto’s wealth was accumulated on the backs of, and by, sex workers.

Very informative tour of... - Very informative tour of a little-known aspect of Toronto's history that is rapidly disappearing as the city is tearing down many of the old neighbourhoods to put in skyscrapers. I found it very enjoyable and highly recommend it to anyone with an interest in nineteenth- and twentieth-century social history.

Knowledgeable and... - Knowledgeable and engaging tour leader. We had a wonderful time and gained great insights into such a complex part of Toronto history.
