Delicious flavors of the Kensington neighbrhood. - This was a delicious and informative romp through the Kensington neighborhood of Toronto. Our guide Jessica provided interesting history about the neighborhood as well as helful descriptions of the food we were tasting over the six food stops. By the end of the tour we were both completely full, but not so overfull that we couldn't go do something else afterward. Additionally, I messaged the tour company a day or two beforehand and asked for non-dairy options wherever possible, and Jessica was able to keep me (and my gut!) happily dairy free throughout the tour- I was incredibly happy about that.

Our family 16-80 really enjoyed! - This tour was great! Felicia was a very personable and knowledgeable guide, taking us to various shops in the area and telling us about the foods and how they found their way to Toronto. Our group went from 16-80 yrs old and we all enjoyed it! It was a very hot day and Felicia found our group air conditioning or shade at every stop. She also gave us waters and soft drinks, to make sure we stayed hydrated. Plenty of food on the tour, and a short leisurely stroll between stops. Book this tour!

True Food International Tour - Loved how Felicia our tour guide shared some history with us and took us to an area where the locals go. This was a true international food tour. We tried food from other countries that I may not have ever ordered for myself, so this was a great way to start out our Toronto trip.

New and unique tastes from around the world - The tour and our guide Jessica were great. We had the opportunity to try new things from countries around the world at locally owned & operated restaurants in Kensington Market. I would have given this a 5-star rating if there was a better line of communication available between attendees and the guide. To improve the overall experience, I recommend an outreach the day before or morning of the tour to advise of any changes to tour starting points. It would also be good to have a way to communicate directly and immediately with the guide for instances where attendees are running late. Communication via the Trip Advisor message feature causes unnecessary delays, provides minimal data points, and is not at all ideal.

Amazing neighborhood, good tour - A significant reason that I signed up for this tour was because it was advertised as having great options for vegetarians. While we were given a vegetarian sample at each stop, they were largely disappointing in terms of being fairly flavorless and repetitive. I would recommend that the tour diversify some of the offerings. For instance, instead of two stops that were essentially hand pies (a Jamaican hand pie and an empanada) why not do a taco or noodle dish? Kensington Market has such incredible variety of food, but I didn’t feel like we really got a sense of that. We still generally enjoyed the tour, though. I absolutely loved Kensington Market.
