- Table Rock Welcome Centre - Begin your adventure with a breathtaking view of the stunning Niagara Falls, where millions of visitors gather annually to witness the powerful waters cascading over the Horseshoe Falls! Table Rock is not only situated right at the Falls, but it also offers a variety of activities. Enjoy a close-up view of both the Horseshoe Falls and the American Falls from the Table Rock Welcome Centre, perfect for capturing memorable selfies and family photos.
- Journey Behind the Falls - This year-round attraction provides a unique perspective of the Falls from below and behind.
Visitors descend 150 feet by elevator to a short tunnel (150 feet) that leads to two outdoor observation decks and two portals located directly behind the Falls. At Journey Behind the Falls, experience the incredible sight of one-fifth of the world’s fresh water crashing into the basin below. During summer daylight hours, over 2,800 cubic meters of water thunder over the brink every second, traveling at 65 kilometers per hour!
The visit to Journey Behind the Falls lasts 30 to 45 minutes, and during the spring and summer months, visitors receive a complimentary biodegradable rain poncho to protect against the Falls’ mist. Elevators descend 150 feet through bedrock to tunnels leading to the Cataract Portal and the Great Falls Portal, which is one-third of the way behind the massive water sheet. Then, proceed to the Upper and Lower Observation Decks at the very base of the Falls. Informative posters provide insights into the history and evolution of the corridors you explore. Journey Behind the Falls is a quintessential Niagara Falls experience, so be sure to bring a waterproof camera. (Tickets available for purchase)
- Floral Clock - The Floral Clock’s intricate designs are crafted with up to 16,000 carpet bedding plants and are changed twice annually. The Niagara Parks horticulture staff maintains the planted face of the Floral Clock, while Ontario Hydro ensures the mechanism inside remains operational.
- Niagara on the Lake Heritage District - The Heritage District of Niagara-on-the-Lake offers delightful shopping, where visitors often enjoy leisurely strolls. Step back into the elegance of the 1920s and 30s and find the perfect hat at Beau Chapeau, Canada’s oldest year-round holiday emporium.
- Whirlpool Aero Car - Enjoy a scenic photo opportunity at the Whirlpool Aero Car. Designed by Spanish engineer Leonardo Torres Quevedo, the Whirlpool Aero Car has been in operation since 1916. Suspended from six sturdy cables, it provides a spectacular view of the Niagara Whirlpool, formed at the end of the rapids where the gorge turns sharply counterclockwise, and the river flows through the narrowest channel in the gorge. High above the rushing Niagara River, you’ll be transported through the air in a vintage cable car. Far below, the torrent of water changes direction, creating one of the world’s most captivating natural phenomena – the Niagara Whirlpool. Sometimes thrilling and always unforgettable!
- Sir Adam Beck Generating Station - The Sir Adam Beck I Generating Station (GS) has been supplying clean, renewable electricity to Ontario for nearly a century. When it was inaugurated by Sir Adam Beck on December 28, 1921, the Queenston-Chippawa Development (as it was known from 1922 to 1950) was the largest hydroelectric power station globally. At the height of construction, over 10,000 people worked on the project.
- The Welland Canal - Ocean-going ships with curved hulls designed for ocean conditions and deeper drafts often carry partial loads when navigating the Great Lakes, accounting for approximately 20% of Canal Traffic. It takes 9.4 million liters of water to fill a lock, all accomplished through gravity without the need for pumps.
- Living Water Wayside Chapel - The day trip from Toronto to Niagara Falls includes a visit to the Living Water Wayside Chapel, the smallest chapel in the world.
- Botanical Gardens - Drive through Niagara Parks’ Botanical Gardens, located on the scenic Niagara Parkway and the Great Gorge, just a 10-minute drive north of Niagara Falls. This beautiful garden setting is home to the Butterfly Conservatory and serves as a unique outdoor classroom for students attending the Niagara Parks School of Horticulture.
- Niagara Falls - Witness the majestic falls throughout your tour. (Please note: Boat operates from September 21st to October 31st, only Friday to Monday. Closed for the winter from November 1st to April 30th, replaced with Journey Behind the Falls or Skylon)
