Great trip - This was the highlight of our trip to Toronto. It was a long day with a lot of time spent in the mini bus, but we felt it was worth it. Journey behind the falls was excellent. Johnny our very experienced guide was informative and amusing. The other stops were interesting. Sheraton buffet was okay but just about worth the cost for the amazing views.

Niagara without boat - I would definitely recommend my friends since I was a solo from asia and our tour guide Jonny was really nice with lot of experience and fun. It was a rainy evening but we managed to go everywhere except boat ride due to snow. I think travelers will excited if you can refud the boat ticket.

Mixed feelings - Being able to view and experience the falls is worth the effort. However on this tour a number of things that were listed as part of tour were not provided WiFi on bus bathroom on bus boat tour dinner overlooking falls. We should have at lest been notified of the deletions ahead of time. Makes us doubt the honesty of tour company.

Bad experience - The experience was extremely disappointing! The falls were not open due to weather! The Zoom Compsny knew this on Monday! I could have canceled had they shared this info! The guide knew little to nothing to share with our group! The restaurant that was going to provide an awesome view! Not open on Tuesday! We ended up at a restaurant in a shopping center! My suggestion is don’t book the expensive trip! I am hoping to receive money back!

Did not deliver the what was contracted to do - No boat ride, no dining experience at the Sheraton. The company failed to deliver what was advertised . We rang the Sheraton and was told the restaurant is never opened on Sundays. The clients should be informed of this and told prior of the alternative dinner experience. We were taken to a crowded food court buffet style outside of Niagara for dinner which then only allowed us to see the night light show for 10 minutes, just as it was starting so didn’t see the vibrancy of the lights ( 2050-2100). Tour driver/ guide - poor tour service with poor communication skills and expected clients to pass information or directions instead of addressing the full group. Very poor Duty of Care and responsibility - dropped off on highway not hotel 11pm Made our own way to hotel. Dropped off an older lady on her own not at hotel and we walked her to her hotel instead of the driver making sure she was safe. Driver complaining of doing excessive hours (over 13 hours) as his reasoning as to why he wasn’t taking us to our hotel. His demeanour changed dramatically when it became apparent that none of clients were happy that the boat ride, restaurant experience had been cancelled and we were not informed of the changes until we were half way on the tour. When racing to the meal experience 15 minutes away from Niagara we hit a top speed of 128khr in the bus.

Non Canadians beware, they are scammers - My family flew in from Tasmania for this and we planned our travel plans around this. We were lied to from the start. Other patrons told us- not even the driver that we would not be going on the boat. The organizers knees the spot that was advertised for dinner was closed and did not inform us into we pulled up to a strip mall to have a Chinese restaurant- not what we paid for. The driver never introduced himself, did not give any explanation as to why this was entirely different from the advertisement and offered no other solutions. We missed the light show- which was also promised because the driver wanted us on the bus an hour earlier. We also had to pay for our own drinks at the Chinese buffet. This was a once in a lifetime experience absolutely ruined by this tour company. I sent an email whilst on the tour and still have not heard back. The worst part is I called the day before to confirm everything was good to go and there were no changes and the tour company confirmed it with me. Then the guide said these changes happened yesterday. My family and I were essentially kidnapped and forced to do this less horrible tour against our consent because we were not informed of the changes until we were already picked up and not by the driver himself either. I am awaiting a refund for the money we spent because they did not just take away the experience of Niagara but they preyed on people from foreign countries knowingly and took the limited time I have with my family while they are over here. Throughly disgraceful and disappointing.

Misleading Advertisement for what you get- long read but worth it - Where to begin. We booked this tour over three months ago for the day we had available in our itinerary. Day before our travel, Zoom tours (the one providing this experience) informs us we won't be able to go that day due to not enough customers booking for that day. Pushed us to Monday (had to rearrange plans). Bad start. On Monday we were asked to be ready early (12:35) we were picked up. NOTE- Viator advertised charter with restroom available. Not provided. We were stuck in a van for three hours before we reached Niagra Falls. It took that long to drive all over Canada to pick up other passengers. Got one hour at the Falls. Paid for the Boat ride ($43 each) was informed in route that boat was not running yet. They knew this on Friday but did not inform us. Instead we got to do the Behind the Falls activity, which costs $29. No refund on that. After one hour at the falls, we drove around for two hours to see a small chapel, largest flower clock, and expensive houses. Showed us the Whirlpool at Niagra, but the side car ride was closed. No need to stop. Here is where the trip went to Hell. We turn into a shopping mall where the driver informs us unfortunately the Sheraton (overlooking the Falls) Hotel buffet we paid for was closed on Mondays. Instead we went to Mandarin restaurant! Two passengers did not eat Chinese nor were given the option for a different place. Viator advertised the Sheraton and if you did not want to eat there, you could dine at the many restaurants by the Falls. We paid $88 for both of us to eat at the Sheraton. Instead we got crappy Mandarin ($25 each) for dinner. Middle of the night I woke up sick from it. Back to see the lights at the Falls. No bathrooms open nor anywhere to get a drink, all closed. So in summary: Advertisement from Viator is misleading at best. 1) It is not 45 minutes to get there. Took 3 hours. Driver said in season it sometimes is 4-5 hours to get there. 2) No coach with restroom for passengers, just a van and a hot bottled water. No boat ride, cheaper behind the falls activity provided. $28 we paid that was not refunded. Zoom tours kept. 3) No Sheraton over looking the Falls buffet. This is only available Fri and Sat nights! Viator does not state this. Money grab. Paid $88 for dinner for two, got lousy Mandarin buffet that made me sick. Zoom kept the $$ difference of $36. Instead of eating overlooking the falls we got to see mattresses for sale under a tent in a parking lot. 4) Total we spent 2 hours at the Falls, one hour at a crappy restaurant, and the other 8.5 hours in a van! 5) Booking months in advance means nothing. They asked us to go on Sat but I told them we were flying in that day. I booked the day we could go for a reason. Save yourself the hassle. Take the train from downtown Toronto to Niagra Falls station. From there its a short walk or Uber to the Falls where you can spend as much time as you like. Stay at a hotel or B&B in Niagra. Either way save the $400 for two people to do this tour (dinner included) as it is not worth it! Viator/Zoom kept the $64 we paid for dinner/events we were denied though stated in the advertisement. Note- boats were not running yet do to perceived ice in the river, so they can substitute activities. But they keep the $$ difference. Have used Viator in UK and here in Canada (Harbor tour). All have been excellent. This was horrible and really disappointing.

False - False advertisement no boat and not there long enough at dark. Everything was rushed and wanted more time at dark to see the lights.
