Even if you aren’t a big hockey fan, go for the history! - A visit to the Hockey Hall of Fame is a perfect example of how a city can honor its history while still embracing modern energy. Housed in a beautifully preserved historic bank building, the Hall immediately impresses with its grand architecture; soaring ceilings, ornate columns, and a sense of timeless prestige that feels worthy of the legends it celebrates. What makes the experience truly special, though, is how seamlessly that classic setting blends with contemporary, interactive exhibits. While the building itself tells a story of tradition and legacy, inside you’ll find cutting-edge displays, immersive simulations, and digital features that bring the game to life in a way that feels fresh and engaging. It’s not just a museum, it’s an experience that evolves with the sport. Even the surrounding area reflects this balance. Set in the heart of a vibrant, modern downtown, the Hall feels connected to the pulse of the city while standing as a tribute to hockey’s enduring roots. Whether you’re a lifelong fan or just exploring, it strikes that rare balance between honoring the past and embracing the present. the Hockey Hall of Fame isn’t just about preserving history, it’s about celebrating it in a way that feels alive, relevant, and exciting.

Easy to go in and out of the HOF to take a lunch break. - You get your hand stamped so you can go in and out throughout the day. There are plenty of restaurant options a few steps outside the entrance, so you can split your visit by having lunch. There's so much to see at the HOF, that taking that lunch break is really the best plan. It's also worth mentioning that there are plenty of stairs to climb to get to certain halls and interactive games.

So much to do here! A lot... - So much to do here! A lot bigger than we expected for the price that we paid! No problem booking as it was super easy. Buses and Union Station stops are near so it makes it convenient for traveling to and from venue.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience! - We truly loved our visit! We were excited to see that the 2026 Winter Olympics hockey matches were represented so soon after the events. We love seeing the comprehensive collection of international hockey jerseys. Wish we would have known there was parking right next to the museum. Don't miss the Tim Hortons Theater for hockey across the decades in five or so different documentaries. It is not posted or evident that a different documentary starts after the credits of the previous one. The theater across from the Tim Hortons theater has a movie that is geared towards young people so we could have skipped that. The highlight was taking a cell phone up close and personal picture with the Stanley cup. We ended our experience at the Tim Hortons next to and under the same roof as the Hall of Fame where more memorabilia was presented!
