Wonderful Family Experience - Absolutely excellent and worth the drive out of PV. The tour itself was informative and hands on with Leia being incredibly knowledgable about the history and culture of chocolate. The chocolate making itself was fun with cooking, peeling, and grinding the cocoa beans with several additions you can choose to add. Most of all, Leia and her mother were exceptional with our two small children. They happily took our 4 month old so we could all experience the process hands on. Most of all they were excellent with our 3 year old keeping him engaged throughout the tour and making him laugh. A unique family run experience. If you can do it you should!

Excellent! - This place is awesome! Not only do you get to see the various types of cacao trees and learn the history of chocolate, if you take the $25 workshop, you can roast, peel, grind, and blend your own chocolate delight. Tours are in both Spanish and English (and I believe I hear them say French and German as well). There is a lot of sampling and time to ask questions. This is a MUST do on your next trip to Nayarit.

Small, personal and unique. - We thoroughly enjoyed this unique experience. The two young women who led the tour for my husband and I tour/experience were lovely, knowledgeable, and kind. We made our own chocolate bar and the tasting was great, The only downside was that the garden is small and halfway through our experience we were invaded by a tour company that blasted their way through and overwhelmed the entire space. No fault of the ladies helping us, they were wonderful. It was just disturbing to be grinding chocolate for our chocolate bar and have strangers literally sticking their noses in my fresh chocolate. Overall, we had a great experience and credit the two young women for handling the situation with poise and grace.

Clear - Aldo gave a very thorough tour of the farm. He gave very interesting history, and showed us all aspects of the trees, the flower, the pod, the seeds…and then we had Hands On participation in: roasting, peeling, grinding, and making chocolate from the beautiful highly nutritious cacao seed! Our hand made samples were delicious! We also sampled lovely beverage! Of course we bought samples to bring home!

Fantastic outing! - Informative and hands on experience in how chocolate transforms from plant to dessert. The hosts were wonderful. We loved being able to make our own chocolate treat. Our teenagers loved the experience as well. Highly recommend!
