Unique. So glad we went. - Interesting tour, and it flowed smoothly from history to the plants to making chocolate. Making our own was fun. The location feels like rural Mexico. This tour was a highlight of our trip. Definitely recommend! Thank you, Adrian.

Fun and informative - Very informative and the hands on experience was fun. Staff were friendly and spoke very good English! Many delightful souvenirs to choose from. Not far from PV and makes for a good excursion if you have 2 hours to spare in your day.

A fun filled experience. Makes me love chocolate even more ! - Very informative with lots of hands on experiences. Well worth the trip. We learned about the history of cacao, saw it growing on the tree, roasted and ground the beans and made our own chocolate.

ONE OF THE BEST COMBINED LEARNING AND FUN EXPERIENCED I'VE EVER HAD - I learned so much--and it was all incredibly interesting. We are fulltime Mexican residents transplanted from Canada. We often have visitors. Recently, a family member arrived with a nine-year-old. We decided for Christmas we'd gift an experience rather than a toy. Yesterday, we headed with the nine-year-old to Planeta Cacao. Right away, our 'guest' began interacting with the staff and just loved every moment of the tour. The thing is, my husband and I did too. What I learned has made me want to look up more about the history of cacao as well as the plant's properties. We even brought some "fruit" home and have readied the "seeds" for planting in our own garden. We could have a cacao tree as well. The staff, Laura, and her Mom, were amazing in their warm welcomes, providing the fantastic hands-on experience for child and adults alike. We have more family coming and plan to book an experience for them. We loved this. Reasonably priced, informative, and over-the-top interesting. Plus chocolate! What more could anyone want? Also, emailing after booking was great as their communication was incredible in knowing when we were coming and establishing a bond. Wow!

Great Artisan Chocolate Experience in Puerto Vallarta. - Great experience around Puerto Vallarta . Mili, our tour guide, was excellent and her knowledge about the history of cacao was impressive. A very interesting and friendly explanation about the process of making chocolates from the fruit. Highly recommended! Many thanks also to Mina and Laura.

100% Recommend! - This tour was a highlight of our trip to Puerto Vallarta! As someone who has worked as a museum educator / field trip facilitator, I was very impressed! The design of the garden itself and the informational panels are excellent, but the real highlight is the tour guides (who are all highly knowledgeable, passionate, kind, patient, engaging...) and the activities- you actually get to make your own chocolate! I highly recommend this experience!
