• Nevado de Toluca - The pick up at your accommodation will be at 7 am. The transfer until the mountain is around 3 hours. Now we are in winter and cold season 4° C. We have snow on the mountain and depends the day we can get the crater from where we can see the lagoons. You will enjoy the snow and the hike. Depending the amount of snow We can arrive the last parking zone at 4150 meters (13616 ft) where is the starting hike until the crater at 4280 meters (14042 ft). If the snow is a lot the authorities closes the access and We will do the hike meters below.

This exclusive tour offers private transportation to the Nevado de Toluca, the fourth tallest mountain in Mexico, situated nearly three hours from Mexico City. It is the only extinct volcano featuring lagoons within its crater. Throughout the tour, participants will gain insights into this majestic mountain.

The tour reaches a maximum elevation of 4,400 meters above sea level. From the crater, visitors can enjoy stunning views of the mountain, its landscapes, and the lagoons known as the “Lagoon of the Sun” and “Lagoon of the Moon.” This area held sacred significance in pre-Hispanic times.

The hike is generally easy, though some ascents, such as the peak named “Humboldt,” add a level of challenge. From this vantage point, participants will be treated to breathtaking views of the lagoons and, on clear days, the second and third highest mountains can be seen in the distance.
