Tolantongo day trip - Our entire experience was wonderful. My husband and I had a one in a lifetime experience at Gruta Tolantongo. We experienced so many beautiful views and activities. Our driver Ricardo and our tour guide Howard were both amazing. They made us feel comfortable and safe and they shared so much history with us during our long drive. They provided us with pillows to rest, water and clean towels. Our entire day trip was perfect. We would definitely go back or book another trip with Ricardo and Howard. Thank you so much!

Best Day Ever with Tour Guide Howard and Driver Ricardo at thermal waters of Tolantongo - This was an amazing tour with beautiful views and amazing scenery. The Grottos, thermal baths and the river were amazing and I would have never able to see the things I saw if it wasn’t for our amazing tour guide Howard and our wonderful driver, Ricardo. These two were the dynamic duo. Howard was very knowledgeable and provided so much interesting information in history of Mexico City, and the surrounding areas as we headed to and from the thermal waters of Tolantongo . Our driver, Ricardo was very cautious, courteous, and helpful and got us to and from our destination safely. It was like taking a trip with family. Both Howard and Ricardo made us feel safe and provided us with the best experience possible.

Grutas de Tolantongo - First time to Mexico City with my husband and we decided to take a day trip to this beautiful and amazing place Grutas de Tolantongo. At the beginning both my husband and I were hesitant and scared to travel that far away from the city. But as soon as we met our driver Ricardo and Howard our tour guide, they introduced themselves and were very warm, welcoming and friendly and already we felt more at ease. Howard was very informative, he was sharing so many facts about the cities history and so much more. Ricardo was very accommodating. He had head pillows for us to be comfortable during our long drive to our destination. He asked us multiple times what music we wanted to listen to and if the temperature was ok for us. At the park they both had great food recommendations. While we were exploring the waterfalls and caves, Ricardo was kind enough to stay and watch over our belongings. While Howard walked us and helped us through caves. He made exploring the park very fun. They gave us plenty of time to be on our own to explore the river and pocitos. We had a blast and a worry free time, thanks to them. On our way back we had great conversations that made our trip fun and short. Thank you Ricardo and Howard You are the dream team.

Amazing tour! - We had amazing day with Hermes and Cynthia. Hermes was our guide and was very helpfull with everything we needed. And he gave us all the time to enjoy the caves, river and pools. He helped us making pictures in the water and made sure we had a wonderful lunch. Cynthia was an excellent driver and also very helpfull in the caves!! We will always remember this day because of them!

Don’t miss this unique experience! - My guide Howard and our driver Ricardo were the best-knowledgeable, professional and friendly! We visited the pools, the cave, the waterfalls and the river. Everything was as described, including a great breakfast on the way and a delicious lunch at Tolantongo. It is quite a drive (thank you Ricardo) but absolutely worth it. It is unlike anyplace I have visited and I learned so much about the area from Howard.

VERY MEMORABLE!!!! - Where to start this review? They messaged me the night before to confirm our pick up time from our hotel and added info. Ricardo, our driver, was there the next morning on the dot then we picked up our guide, Howard. We are so glad that we picked a private tour because we have the transportation to ourselves. We started a little early and Howard told us about the plans for the day. He is such a great guide. He told us histories and stories while on the road. First stop was at a breakfast buffet restaurant. The food and drinks were delicious. Yummy! Then back on the road and next stop was at a store where we bought some essentials like chips and water proof phone case. Back on the road to Grutas de Tolantongo. Also the road we took there were all paved. I think this was a longer route but was worth it because the shorter one is rough and bumpy. We reached our destination and Howard gave us a rundown of our itinerary. We tackled the pools, cave and river. We loved them all especially the cave exploration. Oh my God! It was such an adventure going in those caves. Howard went with us inside with his super bright flashlight and even showed us the secret spots. He volunteered to take photos and while we were inside, Ricardo was watching our things outside. We were spoiled by those two. Howard even let us explore on our own throughout the place without getting rushed. Howard would communicate with us openly and gave us choices what to do next. It’s not one of those tours that you just follow a set schedule. This private tour was worth every penny. Thank you so much Howard for making this trip soooo memorable. Thank you Ricardo for driving us safely to and from. On the way home, we stopped at a pastes (empanada) store and the pastes were super good. Book this tour, you won’t regret it.
