Wintry Afternoon in Nikko - I chose this trip for the locations on the itinerary and was not disappointed. It was snowing which added a mystical element to all of my photos. The guides on this trip were, imho, perfect. Both Paula and Pastor were energetic and approachable taking time to answer any and all questions, while providing recommendations on other sites to visit. This was a worthwhile day trip and an excellent end to my trip.

Super recommended - The tour to Nikko was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Thomas and Sheila were a love, super attentive and with a warmth that made the trip even more special. His knowledge and way of telling the story made every corner come alive, turning the tour into something really fascinating. If you love nature and enjoy exploring temples, this place is perfect for you. The landscapes are stunning, full of mountains, rivers and a tranquility that only Nikko can offer. Besides, here's the most beautiful temple door I've ever seen... but I won't tell you what it's like, because I'd rather you figure it out for yourself. In short, a 100% recommended tour. History, culture and natural beauty in one place, with exceptional guides that make the experience even more unforgettable. You can't miss it!

Wonderful sights and tour of Nikko - Highly recommend this tour! We did a lot of research before choosing this one and we were very happy with our choice. Our tour guides Ethan, Sheila, and Cesar were super kind and helpful, and we also hit all the spots on the agenda thanks to their time management as well as our wonderful bus driver Akutsa.

Disappointing - The visit to nikko was spectacular, but on the positive side of the company I can only highlight that we were transported there in a bus, which although old was quite good. The guides didn’t explain much, they left you minimal times when you didn’t have time for practically anything and after the meal they decided to leave part of the group after only 5 minutes of waiting, even against the rest.

Disappointment - I missed my trip because the traffic was so bad; of course it’s not the companies fault but I wish I had a contact number or a way to communicate with the guide because i could get to Nikko by train and meet the group there since we were supposed to spend about 2 h in that town; I did travel with amigo tour before and i normally get a message on WhatsApp from the guide, one day before the tour; but this time was nothing like that; Tokyo is an immense city and chances to not get on time at the meeting point are high, especially if it’s your first time there and you don’t know what to expect! Having more meetings points or pick up points would help; also, give a contact number the the tourist so they can communicate with the guide! I got no message after the tour; probably because they don’t care about every participant; they take your money and hope they don’t ever hear from you again!

A vacation ruined thanks to Amigo Tours - What can I tell you? I should've payed more attention to the fact that these tour was operated by Amigo Tours. Contrary to their name, these guys made us lose time and money, with literally nothing to show for it. You see, the tour took place in Nikko, a small town in rural Japan where we were staying and since being on a long tour of Japan tends to make you pay less attention to the details, we overlooked the fact that the tour departed from Tokyo. To our surprise, even though we reached to see if we could meet them anywhere along the route, the "Amigos" didn't even try to disguise the fact that they just wouldn't accommodate us at all. Not only that, they took so long to respond to our messages about this whole thing, that by the time they actually took the time to get back to us, it was too late to cancel the booking, which ended up costing us 100% of our money. At least be honest and get another name guys: call yourselves "Valemadre" tours, so everyone can know how much you care about your customers. We will be urging everyone we know to be wary of these guys. Is there a way to leave less than one star?
