Great ride above the clouds - Very smooth ride considering the active weather . Would recommend Harbour Air to friends and family. 1 hr flight beats 8 hr drive given road closures in tofino!

Take Gravol and bring ear plugs - It was amazing view and one of a kind experience. One for the book PS, take gravol ( the ginger) not the one that can make you drowsy at least 1 hour before you fly cause There are moments of turbulence or movement that will give you nausea. Motion seasickness is real. We threw up after and had a lingering headache Also if you dont like loud noises bring the disposable orange ear plugs ( we didn't bring any and the noise although very loud was okay for Us) On our way back home we took gravol and it was amazing. Unfortunately we took both the drowsy and ginger gravol cause we were scared to get the nausea again.,, we slept on our way back soooo soundly LOL. We never had a chance to see the view coz we were soooo sleepy! Lol ( we took 2 way ) to tofino and back to vancouver

Harbour Air Goes The Distance - A flight from Vancouver’s Coal Habour, close to downtown, to downtown Tofino, landing on the water at the Tofino Resort Marina should be on every B.C.resident’s bucket list. The trip, operated by Harbour Air, takes one over spectacular scenery, it is uncomplicated with centrally located departure & arrival locations, it takes only an hour & one arrives on Canada’s west coat, where the non-identical ocean communities of Tofino & Ucluelet are situated. HA is just about to resumes its service on June 5, after the pandemic curtailed services in mid-March. Services will at first be 4 days a week then daily 7 days a week from June 25, with flights departing at 11:30 a. m. & returning at 1 p.m. Flights will observe the government regulations of social distancing with each passenger in a single seat with no one next to them, a factor which has always been in place on the 9-seater craft, it uses for this route. Temperatures are taken of all staff, & passengers, with passengers required to arrive 25mins before take off. HA also allows pets, flying alone, as well, if the pet & crate is under 35 lbs at a flat rate of 40$. HA also handles confidential documents & other cargo. Passengers can fly for as low at 140$ with its Go Fast fare, restricted to 10lbs of luggage & no cancellation. Fares climb to 265$ with additional benefits, with fares between, with 1 allowing 15lbs at 180$. HA is already filling seats fast, in good part the result of local travel becoming an interestingly attractive option for 2020 summer holidays. Looking at possible options to travel to Ucluelet to see my son & fam, I called in for dates. The people working in customer care are most helpful, eager to help with any particular travel configuration. I have flow twice before with HA, both times impressed with all aspects of its operations - telephone staff, check-in staff, the pilot, & the condition of the aircraft. For my son’s 21st birthday we took a package trip Vancouver to Bowen Island, which included flight, a dinner & a chauffeur-driver limousine back home for 4. All transfers were seamless & the dinner overlooking the Bowen harbour delicious. More recently, I was treated by a long-time friend, visiting from Europe, to a trip to Victoria with HA, as he was keen to visit B.C.’s capital, Again it was perfect with both flights on point. Bott flights were in summer — 1 July, the other August ,so flying conditions were perfect. Winter months would give a different experience perhaps but one feels one is always in good hands with HA, which has been operating since 1982 & carbon neural since 2007. Posted by S Fuller

Terrible - 10 min notice of cancellation not good enough - looks like they only had 3 passengers booked and they need 4 to make the flight viable - terrible. According to Environment Canada there was light rain in Tofino and no wind. They could have delayed for a bit. Ruined our long weekend. Terrible company!

Only Book if your OK with getting Stranded - Do NOT book with them unless you are willing to have your flight canceled less than 2 hours before, with no alternative means of getting to your destination. They are too cheap to have fog technology in their planes, fine. Then at the very least there should be a shuttle service or something other than me paying $500 to a ride share or taxi to get to a ferry. The best part is after everything, they will ignore your email when you ask for a refund for the flight they canceled and you didn't take.
