DMZ - Before entering the DMZ area and undergoing an ID check, we will visit the Bridge of Freedom and Mangbaedan Altar, both significant historical sites from the Korean War.
The Third Tunnel - ■DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) The 3rd Invasion Tunnel. This walking course takes you into the tunnel. Step into the 3rd tunnel, a thrilling passage that is approximately 1.95 meters high, 2.1 meters wide, and 1,635 meters long. It was considered more threatening as an invasion route than the 1st and 2nd Tunnels.
Dora Observatory - This is the northernmost point of the western front, offering a view of the Gaeseong Industrial Complex and Songhaksan Mountain. Get a real look at North Korean territory!
Imjingak Pyeonghoa-Nuri Park - This beautiful park was built to symbolize the hope for reunification and peace on the Korean Peninsula.
Gamaksan Chulleong Bridge - [Option 2] This is the first stop on your short hiking course, requiring a 15-minute walk uphill. It is one of Korea’s longest suspension bridges at 150 meters and was a fierce battlefield during the Korean War. After a short hike to the top, you’ll reach a great viewpoint on Gamaksan Mountain.
Majang Reservoir Suspension Bridge - [Option 3] Lake Majang Bridge. This site saw intense battles during the Korean War, with many Allied soldiers sacrificing their lives. In April 1951, a fierce battle took place to establish a defense line (Delta Defense Line) to protect Seoul from the Communist Army. In May 1951, there was a battle to advance the Kansas Line.
Imjin River - [Option 4] Enjoy a boat riding adventure on the Imjin River, which flows from North Korea to South Korea. Access to this river was forbidden for the last 50 years following the Korean War.
