Book the tour if you’re in the south! - The floating market tour was definitely one of the best things to do in southern Vietnam. It’s something like a half hour ride by boat from the entry point to the market and when we arrived at the market we got really good fresh coffee and a noodle dish. It was the first time I ate breakfast on a boat and the madness of the floating market only improved the experience. Then we switched boats for a while and got to see an actual local boat from inside. We also ate fresh pineapple there. After that we went on a bit of a ride through the small canals which was way calmer than the main river and we stopped by the rice noodle factory where we didn’t just see how they were made but we also tried some activities. Lastly we went on to the cocoa factory where we got to know the process of producing cocoa beans and chocolate. Our tour guide Huong was really nice and informative with great english, she also took some nice photos and videos of us throughout the trip! If you’re in the south of Vietnam, book this tour!

Great tour of the floating market - So it’s a 5.30am start … but it’s definitely worth it. We went on the private tour (ie just us two) led by Thi and with the very capable Mrs Thu at the helm of our small boat. Out on the river in the pre dawn light it was majestic and beautiful. The floating market was fascinating. We were the first customers for breakfast - some great noodles. Loved getting this glimpse of river life in Vietnam. We rounded out our tour with a trip down a tiny canal and then a visit to a small business making noodles. While there we also saw a funeral and a wedding in progress. Finally we visited another small business growing cacao beans and making chocolate. Our guide Thi was first rate. Excellent English, a flexible approach to the timing and a great sense of humour. Thorough enjoyed her company. We had a good time and highly recommend this tour

Non touristy and well worth your time - An exceptional tour led by Daisy that skips all the tourist nonsense and gets straight to the good stuff! From cocoa farms to rice noodles to an unforgettable breakfast on the boat, this was the highlight of my tour to the Mekong delta! Thank you to Daisy and the rest of the FME team!

Loved it! - It was a very nice tour with Vi. I was picked up early to go to the boat. It was a special one anyway to the market so early in the morning. At the floating market we ate pho on the boat (vega options) and drank Vietnamese coffee. After this we sailed through small canals, visited the noodles factory and the cocoa farm. On the boat I was told that the caco factory is not in the tour, while day was on the voucher. Some confusion about this. All in all a very nice experience.
