Great day! - We had so much fun! Transportation made it a super easy and relaxing day. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and ensured we got the most out of our trip. We learned a lot and got so many pictures. I would recommend doing lunch on your own, but it was a fun way to meet the other tourists.

Very informative tour with a wonderful Guide - I, my wife and our 11-year old Grandson met the others at the meeting point, were provided for wireless communicators with the local guide and then seated into a minivan for a drive to the first point at the Hadrian Villa near the city of Tivoli. A very smooth and nice drive, thanks to the skillful driver who spent with us the whole time. Marzia, our local guide, met us and after a short introduction started the tour which should cover grounds of the Hadrian's Villa and the Villa d'Este in Tivoli. All was working well, our communicators were sustaining a good distance between the guide and participants, so much so that we were able to take many pictures at our pace, and at the same continue absorbing the good information, shared with us by Marzia along the way. In each of the two Villas we were able to get familiar with the place, its history, its glory and downfalls, and its present. And surely we had some time for personal walks around the places. In mid-day the eligible participant got a chance of having a VERY good and ample lunch in a local restaurant, close to the Villa d'Este in the city of Tivoli. Others could decide for themselves what to do in the city until the 2nd half of the whole tour in the Villa d'Este. Again, Marzia effortlessly provided us for all necessary guidance and answers. Here is what we wish to say about Marzia. The tour would not have been a complete success without our wonderful guide. Her vast knowledge of the subject, complete and detail answers to all relevant questions, asked by all engaged participants (including our Grandson), great respect to us and to the subject, all necessary care that Marzia was providing to us through the whole tour shaped it as the real time travel into the past of the both important places. The both places are huge, but Marzia obviously knew the history of each and every one of the visited corner, presented to us in very good English. Overall, we are absolutely sure that taking this tour was the great idea. We do recommend the tour to those who are keen to learn about the history of the both Villas, as well as the history of the surrounding places. And thanks to Marzia, our beautiful guide, the tour was the great success!

Interesting Day - An interesting day trip. Hadrian’s villa is basically ruins but you can still visualise its beauty and grandeur in the past. I had read previous posts regarding the lunch and was going to book the tour without lunch. Somehow I made a mistake and we ended up with the lunch. I can only say that the service was very good and the trattoria was clean. There were two choices for each serving and all six of us stated that the food was excellent. Perhaps we had a good day but we certainly had no complaints about the food. The afternoon villa is the highlight of the day and it takes your breath away. Both the interior and the exterior are works of art and it is difficult to describe the majesty and beauty of this villa. You have to see it for yourself.

Beautiful Day in Tivolo - The tour service was prompt and took care of everyone's needs. The Villa D'Este and Hadrian's Villa should be on everyone's must see list when they are in Rome. Our guide explained everything very well. He was funny and he had a tremendous knowledge of the history. The members of the tour group were congenial and we had some great conversations. My only complaint was that the lunch was not up to par. They should consider using a different restaurant.

Skip the lunch, stay for the views!!! - The order of the tours is wonderful! It’s a long day so highly recommend comfortable shoes! The tour guide was very knowledgeable, but a little hard to understand at times. I would recommend skipping lunch if you book as it wasn’t anything special. They have a couple food spots you’ll be able to branch off and meet back up with the group for the second tour!

Bad bus driver - The tour was fantastic. The bus driver not so much, erratic driving and then at the end, dumped us out without an announcement because our drop off street was closed. We ended up walking 30 minutes getting to find a taxi and the stands were busy and empty so we had a crowded hour walk in the cold back to our hotel.

Very disappointed. - We did not even make the tour. We were at where we thought the tour guide would be an hour ahead of time. We hot a message to follow a map. Hello the streets in Rome are not marked. The meeting place was a metro with multiple exits. I am so disappointed. I don't think I will use this company again.
