Saranda - Saranda is considered to be the pearl of the Albanian riviera, especially during the summer period, when many refer to it as the unofficial capital of Albania. Located in a perfect natural bay of the Ionian Sea with an amazing view of Corfu Island. Saranda is blessed with more than 300 days of sunshine during a year, making it a favorite destination for both local and international tourists.
The city is known for its rocky beaches, numerous bays, rich flora and fauna, citrus plantations, olive groves and vineyards. - Port of Saranda - The port of Saranda is one of the most important in the southern region of Albania, thus becoming a connecting point with the Mediterranean countries. You can have a walk throw the promenade of Saranda, by the Ionian Sea enjoying the view, drink a coffee or have an ice cream by the seaside.
- Ksamil - Ksmail will be our next destination! You will feel like you are exploring some tropical paradise when being on its white sandy beaches with the view of the four islands in-front of the beach. Ksamil is the pearl of the Albanian Riviera and it surely is one of the best beach destinations in Europe. Ksamil is primarily known for its fine sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters. The Albanian Riviera has many pretty beaches, however, this beach gives you that Bora – Bora feeling. You will have some time to dive in and enjoy the turquoise colour of the sea and soak up the atmosphere.
- The Blue Eye - Our Tour leader will come and pick you up in the afternoon and depart towards the natural wonder of the Blue Eye, a source of fresh water surrounded by evergreen trees. The source comes from “Mali i Gjere” and reaches a depth that has not yet been discovered, so far divers have gone deep to 50 meters. The water temperature does not go above 10 degrees. The Blue Eye looks like it come straight out of fairy tale but you can actually visit it. You will not be able to keep your eyes off the mesmerizing crystal-clear blue water
- Tirana - After this amazing experience we will drive back to Tirana.

An amazing insight into beautiful Albania - Our trip was amazing from start to finish. The whole journey had breathtaking, Idilic and spectacular views.
Our guide llir was exceptional. He was knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions. He spoke fluent English, so communication was perfect and added to the whole experience.
It was a long journey and the heat was intense but llir made sure the car was cool and we enjoyed the drive.
He gave adequate and well timed breaks. We felt safe as two female travellers and throughly enjoyed the places we visited.
We were recommended an amazing seafood restaurant along the coast and it was just the perfect setting to end the trip.
In respect to value for money it may seem pricey but I would say it was worth every penny.
The communication with choose balkans was very impressive, they kept me informed before I even left from Scotland. They had set up a WhatsApp group and kept me in the loop of any updates and changes of meeting places and timing. They were professional and polite and put me at ease.
I would highly recommend to book with them and I'm sure all their tpir guides are amazing but i personally feel we got the best one, so thanks llir for making this trip a memorable one with my daughter.

Great trip from Tirana to the coast - We had a great day trip with Juxhin to Sarande. We had a trip booked with another tour operator that cancelled last minute, and Choose Balkans were very accommodating of providing us with a trip last minute.
Juxhin was very flexible, responsive and helped us adapt our day. Would recommend!

Loved this intimate tour - Loved this intimate tour. The day was long, but our guide, Bailey, was super relaxed in terms of pacing and content of explanations. Would recommend for anyone that prefers small-format tours over big buses!

Amazing trip - Our recent tour with Sam was an exceptional experience that left us with lasting memories of Albania.
His energy was infectious, making the tour informative and incredibly enjoyable. Communication is key for any tour guide, and Sam excelled.

Worth the visit - We really enjoyed the Tour. It was a hot day but it was expected as it is the summer season. We had enough time to explore the beach in Sarande and Ksamil. We’re mesmerised by the beauty of the Blue Eye. Thanks to Sam for being an awesome guide , for always ensuring that we feel okay and for the additional spots where we can take more pictures and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Best tour ever ! - First time booking a tour in Albania , it was a wonderful and welcoming experience! My guide, Idir was very knowledgeable about the environment and the history of the region. I learned so much and was able to appreciate all the sites I discovered. My guide was very respectful and kind. It was extremely pleased by this experience. I would recommend it to fellow Canadians who love hiking and nature as well as anyone who enjoys discovering the rich Albanian culture.

Beautiful day full of Things to do - Wonderful tour! Arian is a nice and cheerful tour guide. We had booked a tour with a few others but eventually 3 cancelled so we got a private tour from Arian. He took his time and took nice spontaneous pictures of us. It's a long drive but you get to see really beautiful places. Serande was particularly liked

Good day trip but very long - Good trip but it was too long and involved too much driving and less of sightseeing. By the time we arrived at the Riviera it started raining so couldn't enjoy the beauty of it. Our guide Erik was great, kept us informed and attended to our needs. 5 star for Erik. Recommend this trip if you are in Albania.

Lots of time in car. - Saw wonderful sights, but it is a lot of driving 4 hours back and forth from Tirana on a weekend trip. In retrospect, we would have done trip differently and rented a car or gotten to Albanian Riviera via Corfu on separate trip. Tour guide was slightly off putting.
