The perfect way to see this beautiful country ❤️ - This tour really exceeded my expectations. I knew nothing about North Macedonia beforehand, but I was in awe by the end - such a beautiful country. We had been on another full-day tour only 2 days earlier which had depleted our energy reserves somewhat, but we needn’t have worried. The pace of this tour was actually very relaxing, and we appreciated the slower pace which allowed us to take in much more of the stunning natural beauty of both Struga and Ohrid, both incredibly picturesque places. I must say that our amazing guide Ana made our day so memorable, she was so lovely and set a nice gentle pace, even giving us some time to explore each town on our own after showing us around the main points of interest, something you don’t seem to get on other tours. We felt very relaxed all day, so thank you Ana for giving us such a wonderful end to our holiday and for leaving us with some great memories.

Thank you, Toni! - My sister and I had a great day with Toni. He was so kind, accommodating, and knowledgeable. You can tell he’s passionate about the Balkans and creating an incredible experience for those on his tour. He took the time after our tour to send us recommendations for the rest of our trip. Enjoyable trip to Ohrid - Wonderful day out visiting Lake Ohrid, Struga and Ohrid. Juli was an excellent guide and driver, with interesting and wide-ranging conversation which made the long journeys pass effortlessly.
Highly recommended - particularly fortunate to do the trip in such glorious autumn weather!

Excellent trip in to North Macedonia - This was a lovely trip taking in the beautiful mountain views of Albania and North Macedonia. On arrival in Ohrid there is an amazing village steeped in history and culture, with small narrow streets all leading to the lake. Our guide, Ardit, was very knowledgeable and answered all questions with great insight. The tour itself was delivered in a small group which made it easier and a very friendly trip, would recommend both Balkan Tours and Ardit for making this a memorable experience

Best Guide! - Our tour guide, Toni amazing! He is a very careful driver in a country full of crazy drivers. The vehicle he drove our group of 6 in was very comfortable. He was kind, caring, thoughtful throughout the day while sharing his love for his country with us. The stories he shared of the history and personal family experiences of living during the troubled past of Albania and North Macedonia were appreciated.
Awe we were glad we could show him what a bunch of 71-79 year olds could do!
Struga and Lake Ohrid are beautiful.

North Macedonia private day trip - We had a great day with Billy as our driver and guide. Extremely knowledgeable and excellent speaker. The pace was laid back and easily adjusted to any needs. Sights were all beautiful and having Billy along made us feel like locals at times. Highly recommend the trip and Choose Balkens as your guide of choice!

Great one day trip to North Macedonia - If you wanna see your beautiful part of the Balkans, do this trip.
Orhid and Struga or must. Erich, Alor guy did an excellent job and was very knowledgeable of the history. It was a very long day given the weekend traffic but worth it.
Appreciate the history and the beauty of the area.

Very nice excursion, great lake, castle, churches!👌💪 - Very nice tour, about 3 hours there and 3 hours back by car. Unfortunately, it rained half the day, so more for the summer term.
