• Tirana - Our tour leader will pickup you at the hotel/location provided. You will depart towards North Macedonia.
• Lin Pogradec - As we descend from the lofty heights of Mount Qafe Thana, we will encounter Lin Village. The breathtaking vista of the village and the adjacent lake makes it an ideal spot for capturing memorable photographs and creating cherished memories.
• Driloni National Park - Shortly after leaving Lin Village, we’ll arrive at Drilon Park. Here, we can savor a brief coffee break by the tranquil Drilon River, surrounded by graceful swans and the stunning beauty of nature.
• Monastery of Saint Naum - Following our entry into North Macedonian territory, we will soon encounter the Saint Naum Monastery. As we admire the ancient Byzantine architecture that has stood for a thousand years, we’ll proceed to explore the monastery’s interior. Inside, we will pay a visit to the central church of the monastery and relish the picturesque view of the lake from this vantage point. For nature enthusiasts, the monastery also houses captivating peacocks, adding to its overall charm and beauty.
• Ohrid - Our journey culminates in Ohrid, a city that seems untouched by time. Ohrid boasts a history that stretches back to ancient Hellenistic times, passing through the eras of the Roman Empire and the Ottoman Empire. With is its remarkable fusion of Orthodox and Islamic architecture and with an astounding number of 365 churches, each symbolizing a day of the year, Ohrid is truly unique.

As we stroll through the enchanting streets of the old town, we will explore the main churches, such as Saint Sophia, Saint Jovani, and Saint Clement. We’ll also marvel at the medieval Samoil Fortress, visit the National Workshop for handmade paper, and immerse ourselves in the rich culture at the Ohrid Amphitheatre, among other captivating experiences that await us in this remarkable city.

Following a lakeside lunch to recharge our energy, we will commence our journey back to Tirana.

We begin our journey with a trip to the quaint, ancient town of Lin, located on a tiny peninsula on Lake Ohrid’s western coast. Equipped with medieval homes and a stunning perspective from Mount Qafe Thane, Lin provides a stunning kick-start to our travel adventure.

Following our exploration of Lin, we briefly stop at the tranquil Drilon Park, located by the Drilon River. The river serenely merges into Lake Ohrid, carving a unique ecosystem and forming a residence for several beautiful swans.

Our journey swiftly steers us into North Macedonia, where we stumble upon Saint Naum, a historical monastery standing majestically for over a millennium, captivating guests with its timeless architectural allure.

We persist with a picturesque drive bordering the lake, until we arrive at Ohrid, a city seemingly frozen in time. The city is famed for its collection of 365 churches, each bearing testimony to a plethora of cultures from the Roman Empire, the Ottoman Empire, and beyond. Post a comprehensive exploration of the city’s churches, castle, and scenic spots, we start our return journey to Tirana.
