• Tirana - Start your day with a picturesque drive from Tirana, Durrës, or Golem to Gjirokastra, which takes approximately four hours. During the journey, your tour guide will share fascinating facts and stories about Albania. There will be a brief stop to enjoy a coffee, use the restroom, and stretch before continuing.
• Gjirokaster - Upon reaching Gjirokastra—one of Albania’s most stunning and historic towns—your guide will introduce you to this UNESCO World Heritage Site, renowned for its well-preserved Ottoman architecture and distinctive stone houses. Together, you’ll explore the charming old bazaar, filled with colorful shops, handmade crafts, and picturesque corners.
• Gjirokastra Bazaar - After the guided tour of the old town, you’ll have free time to explore the “stone city” at your leisure—whether it’s shopping in the bazaar, wandering through the narrow cobbled streets, enjoying lunch, or visiting one of the local museums.
• The Blue Eye - In the afternoon, the tour proceeds to the Blue Eye (Syri i Kaltër), one of Albania’s most enchanting natural wonders. This deep spring, surrounded by trees and clear blue water, resembles a giant eye. You’ll have time to walk around, enjoy the tranquil nature, and perhaps dip your feet in the refreshing water, which remains cold throughout the year!

After visiting the Blue Eye, the return trip to Tirana, Durrës, or Golem begins, concluding a day filled with culture, nature, and stunning views.

  PICK UP: If you choose the hotel pick-up option, please be aware that in some instances, you may be kindly asked to walk a short distance (1–5 minutes) to a nearby main street. This is typically due to certain hotels being situated on narrow streets where our buses cannot easily access.
  IMPORTANT: You will receive the final tour details via email and WhatsApp the night before the tour, between 22:30 and midnight. Pick-up times may slightly vary depending on the schedule, so it’s crucial to check our message. If you’re asleep when we send the info, just check it in the morning to confirm your pick-up time.
