Amazing day - It is an amazing day, the guide ( Ilir) is extremely knowledgable and helpful. He is so good at taking photos. We had such a good memorable day trip. We thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

Our guide Ilir was great,... - Our guide Ilir was great, full of information, very friendly and took lots of great photos for us. He spoke with real passion about the frescoes at Berat, which was a particular highlight. The car was very comfortable and the air con very effective which is crucial in the summer heat

Berat Castle tour - We took a tour to Berat with our guide Ilir. Unfortunately for Ilir the others who had scheduled the tour cancelled so we were the only two on the trip. He arrived at the designated time to pick us up at our hotel and introduced himself. The trip to Berat was nice as Ilir did a great job providing us with insights to the history of and changes that Albania has gone through over the centuries. Halfway to Berat we had a stop for coffee and were given a chance to visit with Ilir to get to know about him. The visit to Berat Castle was great with us learning the history. Ilir is extremely knowledgeable about the iconography in the museum allowing us to appreciate it more than if we had visited it without a guide. He took several pictures of us during the tour which will allow us to look back at the memories when we return home.

Beautiful day spent. My best tour in Albania so far - I was on an unplanned solo tour as no one else booked. My guide Illir was on time for my pick up. Illir is well kept, the car was spotless, he is a good driver and I felt safe seeing how nervous a passenger that I am! Illir is fluent in English and very knowledgeable about the history of Berat fortress (castle) and was able to answer all my questions as we engaged in a historical discussion about the fortress, Berat itself and Albania as a whole. I didn't feel rushed as we toured the entire fortress and we spent a good amount of time in the town by the river . All the photos I have attached are a credit to Illir as he was my photographer for the day as well as being my guide. He was patient with me and very encouraging when my fear of heights got the better of me! I had an Impromptu wine tasting at Çoba family winery en-route to Tirana which I was grateful for that my guide let me do. Berat fortress (castle) has a rich history, the houses are beautiful, the views from upstairs are as beautiful as from downstairs! The drive there is straight forward and scenic! I highly recommend this tour! Thank you Illir.

10 Stars!!!! - It was only me in the group and it was amazing!!! Iliar was an excellent first class tour guide. OMG!! So so so so so … so knowledgeable!!! And very, very, very kind!!!! Visiting Berat, without Iliar, wouldn’t be the same!! Highly recommended!!!!

Beautiful and charming. Nice half day trip. - If you go up the hill you will find an old fortress and small stone houses with narrow allies. One of these houses is a church preserved to perfection. The furniture and paintings are dated back to the 15-16 century. The fortress and the surrounding allies are small but full of charm.

very disappointing - Honestly I expected much more from this excursion, it's not like there's anything to see and our guide honestly wasn't very talkative, so we found ourselves circling ruins but without understanding each other too much. Would not recommend

Never use this tour - This horrible tour operator Refused service in the morning at the door on the street in a strange country because the passenger was a senior . Horrible service . Be careful .
