Loved it! - The tour was an excellent experience. The boat itself was very comfortable and accommodating for families who need to bring a lot when travelling with kids. I was with 3 toddlers and I felt like we had enough space. We brought all the kids we normally bring to the beach; cooler, snacks, sand toys etc. We rented an umbrella for $5 which was worth it. My kids loved being able to make a necklace with their shell on the journey back. We would do it again, it was well worth it. Shell Island is a Florida treasure, I would say its a must see experience.

A great way to spend three hours discovering the Madeira Beach area from the water side of the Gulf. - This was a great way to get out on the water, see the various beaches (Treasure Island Beach, St. Pete Beach) and then get to the Shell Key Preserve. Captain Mike and First Mate Kimberly kept everything fun, lively and informative as they both described the area, the local weather, the local marine life--which we saw Dolphins, Turtles, Birds of all kinds and Manta Rays too. Time spent on the island hunting for seashells, of which there wereany thousands, made for an excellent stop and time on land before returning back to the marina. The three hours went by very fast and it was an enjoyable time had by all, including the two crew members who were both very fun to be with.

Great shelling!! - The boat left promptly at 10:00 and there was plenty of room for everyone and their chairs, coolers, umbrellas, etc. The two employees provided clear info on sites along the way, as well as ensuring that we were all back on the boat! While our neice and nephew were tired from shelling for a few hours, and didn't mind that the return ferry left at Shell Key at 12:30, the website clearly stated return trips were at 1, 3 and 5 -mNOT 12:30, 2:30 and 4:30. Someone should correct that on line.

Best Crew! - Tour was amazing and the captain and crew were THE BEST! My husband had a medical emergency and they were sooo quick to find help and so incredibly compassionate and caring along with a PA from Alabama that was on our trip to Shell Key ! Captain Mike and mate Kimberlee were the best! We felt confident enough to do the dolphin cruise the next day.

Worth the trip - Captain Greg and First Mate, Kimberly were great! Knowledgeable and nice. Shell Key was very laid back and relaxing- away from the chaos of some of the other beaches. Found some great shells, dolphins were surfacing right in front of us, hardly any sseagulls. Lots of boats to watch. It was a very nice, relaxing day.

Meh - The captain and crew were amazing! Shell Key was okay. It was BUSY. Boats and jet skis were very active and the swimming area was very shallow. The highlight of the trip was the dolphin activity. OMG! It was like a show at Sea World. This was a completely unexpected part of the ferry ride back to the dock. Definitely the highlight of the trip.
