Bonaventure Cemetery From Downtown Savannah we recommend taking East Liberty route to Wheaton St and traveling Wheaton until it becomes Skidaway Rd. Once at a "Little 5 Points" intersection, you'll turn Left on E. 36th St. This bumps right into Bonaventure another mile down. Approx 10-15 minutes.

An experience to be had! - A very informative tour. When they recommend an umbrella, take one. Unless you're a storm witch, then kick off your shoes and walk in the rain like I did. The cemetary is really cool to see and Shannon had a lot of interesting stories and anecdotes. Some of his jokes are pretty cheesy dad jokes but to be expected given how often he probably makes them.

A Must Experience! - I am pretty sure I have undiagnosed ADHD, and I usually have a had time being 100% present during tours. However, this tour kept my attention the entire time. Shannon’s amazing storytelling had me hooked. It was hands down the best tour I have ever been on. He really knows how to connect with his tour groups and represent the history of Savannah. He is making the ancestors proud. If you’re headed to town, do yourself a favor... watch Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil and then book this tour.

Excellent guide and fascinating tour - Bonaventure is a beautiful, peaceful place in the daytime, so we wanted to learn more. I thought it might be spooky at night, but it wasn’t. We had also taken a Savannah ghost tour where 90% was completely fabricated and good people’s reputations were besmirched by lies and it was important to us that the truth- whatever it was- was told. Shannon addressed my concerns and I felt he was truthful and sincere. We visited 6 different plots in the Cemetery for information. It’s totally interesting material- lots of Masonic stuff, rich people crazy, and characters. Shannon was very knowledgeable and prepared for questions. I love history and appreciate people who truly love going down the rabbit holes of it all. Highly recommend this tour. It’s not Halloween ish or silly, it’s fascinating trivia and I’d love to go again to different parts of the Cemetery on tour with him as a guide.

Interesting Tour That Was Well Done! - Great tour. Interesting subject matter and relevant stories. They provided lanterns for walking in the dark. My wife and I enjoyed it. It was the highlight of all the tours we took.

Tour Cancelled - Tour was unfortunately cancelled due to lack of attendance. Just wish we had been warned that this might be a possibility as it was tough to find another tour to book so late in advance. We are bummed because we were really excited to see this cemetery at night! So just wanted to give others a heads up that this is a possibility when booking this tour! But I’m sure its great!

Not a lighthearted fun tour, more historical and educational - This tour was not what I expected. I hoped for something lighthearted with entertaining, thrilling, suspense-filled stories to keep me on my toes throughout the tour. I wish the tour had something upping the fright factor. Instead, I was met with what felt like an educational seminar by what felt like a university professor who was passionate about his topic but delivered in a lecture format. The enthusiasm was kinda present, but it was still too dull for me. It wasn't all that fun, and I couldn't wait for the whole thing to end. Way too historical. I love history, but I wasn't looking for a historical experience. This tour was not frightening one bit. I think it is misslabeled as a "ghost tour". However, this is perfect for you if you want an educational experience regarding Bonaventure Cemetery! It is riddled with Freemason stories and other narratives. Also, if you haven't read "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil," you will feel lost on this tour. In my opinion, it's not worth the price as the advertising is somewhat misleading.

Tour only an hour due to weather. No refund or reschedule given. - Tour was cut short due to weather. We only toured Bonaventure for 1 hour. Tour was scheduled for 2 1/2 hours. No refund or reschedule was given. After driving 2 hours each way for this tour, this was extremely disappointing. Definitely would not recommend.
