The real Hoi An experience! - This tour was the highlight of my time in Hoi An! Billy was such a knowledgeable and passionate guide, showing me around the local area and giving me a glimpse into everyday life beyond the touristy old town. It’s truly the best way to experience the real Hoi An. The local people we met were so kind and welcoming. It’s definitely worth getting up early for!!! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Hoi An — and if I had more time, I’d definitely join more tours with Billy and his team!

Authentic and down-to-earth - We booked the Hoi An Sunrise Tour with Billy and had a great time. He was a very genuine and passionate guide, who shared with us a lot about Vietnamese history and the local Hoi An culture. We got to meet locals from villages around Hoi An to see their way of life. We also got to try a lot of authentic local food in the village markets as part of the tour. This was a very down-to-earth way to experience the real Hoi An, and it was a very nice break from the touristy old town area. It was the highlight of our Hoi An trip for sure. We wish Billy and his team success and all their best with their future endeavours – they are a small team that truly operates with a lot of sincerity and heart, and they are well worth supporting.

Best experience in Hoi An - This was one of a kind tour that every person that visits Hoi A should experience. Billy was incredible and because I was the only person on the tour, he took me on the motorbike where I could see so much more. Driving through the local villages you really get to see everything, visiting local homes, the rice fields, bridges sharing traditional customs like rice paper making and rice wine - it’s honestly the best tour I’ve ever been on. Thank you Billy for such a once in a lifetime experience!

In contact with reality - The tour is well organized and connects you with local communities by showing you what you would never see alone. Tham was a special guide, she accompanied us throughout the experience telling us many curiosities about Vietnamese culture. Super recommended if you want a different experience from the usual sightseeing tours.

Meeting the locals away from the tourists. - Our sunrise tour with Tham was a highlight of our stay in Vietnam. We warmed to Tham immediately. She was so passionate and proud of her community putting together a great tour. Tham guided us through local fishing village, local farmers market, local people making a living with their crafts and so much more. It was all so interesting. It’s a tour where you feel you’re seeing the real Vietnam. We fully recommend this tour.

Amazing authentic tour - We met our guide at 5am and headed to the fish market. We saw how the locals buy and sell fish for the day. When then saw how fish sauce is made and then headed to a local market and bought some breakfast which we had a Cafe. We then saw how rice wine is made, local weaving and how noodles are made. This tour takes you to areas you would not otherwise see and a glimpse into how locals live, work and earn a living. Hoa was our guide and did an amazing job showing us round. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and would 100% recommend if you're wanting an authentic experience in Hoi An.

Highlight of our trip - The tour was the highlight of our stay in Vietnam and the best part of it was meeting incredibly kind and welcoming people of Hoi An. Emily was an amazing guide genuine, and truly passionate about her community. She gave us a real insight into the local culture and shared stories about the people of Hoi An. It was very personal and authentic tour. We really enjoyed learning how to make fish sauce, rice wine, beautiful sleeping mats and rice noodles. Seeing local fish market early in the morning was a very unique experience. However, we were really moved by warm welcome from the local craftsmen and some of their stories were truly inspiring. I highly recommend this your tour to anyone interested in local culture and people.

Incredible sunrise tour through the villages around hoi an. - Tham was an incredible tour guide. Ask for her! She picked me up on her motorbike ( they organize car for more than 1 person, I was solo) and off we went at 4.30 am. Don’t be daunted by the early start, it’s completely worth it. I absolutely loved the fishing village and watching the catch of the day being brought in, the haggling, the buying, the selling and just a vibrant community at its beautiful best. we also visited a number of small local businesses including a rice wine business, a mat making business and a rice noodle business. Tham is an evocative storyteller and I am grateful for the care she took in honoring the stories she shared. Also, thank you to Billy. This is by far the best tour I have had in Vietnam. 🇻🇳🐟🙏🏽

10/10 - This was probably one of the best tours we’ve done so far. Our guide, Emily, was exceptional. She really took us beyond the typical tourist spots, showing us places outside the old town. It felt like such an authentic experience. One of the highlights for me was visiting the fish market — not a fancy or curated one, but a real, working market. Watching people negotiate, buy, and sell fish, and seeing the fishermen arrive by boat — that was something special.
