Sung Sot Cave - Known as “Grotte des Surprises” by the French, Sung Sot Cave is one of the largest and most beautiful caves in Halong Bay, a highlight on most itineraries. Discovered by a French explorer in 1901, it is 25 meters above sea level and covers an area of up to 10,000 sqm. Visitors often feel “surprised” by this incredible natural artwork. Sung Sot Cave is a popular tourist attraction included in nearly all Halong Bay cruise itineraries. It can be accessed by rented canoe, day cruise, or overnight cruise. The best time to visit is year-round, with October to December being ideal due to lower humidity levels (60-70%).
-
Hang Luon Cave - Luon Cave is part of Bo Hon Island, located about 14 kilometers from Bai Chay City. Known for its wonders, Bo Hon Island is a prominent spot in Halong Bay, often chosen by tourists exploring the area.
The vicinity of Luon Cave includes many renowned attractions in Halong Bay. In front of Luon Cave is Con Rua Island (Turtle Island), and to the right is the Heaven Gate. Additionally, Bo Hon Island is home to Sung Sot Cave, the most magnificent cave in Halong Bay. Tien Cave and Trinh Nu Cave are also famous nearby.
- Ti Top Island - Ti Top Island is a favored destination for tourists on Halong Bay tours due to its prime location. Bo Hon Island and Sung Sot Cave are in front of the island, with Dam Nam Island to the right and Cua Luc Bay at the back. Ti Top Beach is only about 7-8 kilometers southeast of Bai Chay Tourist Area.
From above, Ti Top features a steep slope on one side and a gentle slope on the other. The beach has a crescent shape with smooth white sand and is blessed with stunning natural beauty. The water is clear and blue year-round, revealing pebbles on the sandy bottom. These geographical features make Ti Top Island a must-visit stop in Halong Bay.
- Tuan Chau Island - After the wonderful tour, the cruise disembarks at Tuan Chau Island, concluding the trip. If transfer is booked, guests will be returned to their hotel in the Halong Bay Area.
Opened on January 1, 2016, Tuan Chau Harbour operates under the “one destination, many facilities” model. In addition to being a port, it offers restaurants, supermarkets, souvenir shops, and entertainment chains, fully catering to the needs of tourists and sailors.
