See the island - Do not miss the opportunity to start your adventure on Santorini with this tour and company. You will be especially please if Amani is your guide. The information and tour is enhanced by her knowledge and sharing of history to understand the importance and beauty of Santorini. It is more than Oia !! You see the entire island and will assist you to go back and see more.

Beautiful Santorini in a day. - Amani was amazing. Her English is fantastic and easy to understand. She is extremely knowledgeable about her beautiful island. She met us at the cable car early so we could beat the crowd to Oia. We had free time to take pictures, shop and enjoy the views. She then took us to many picturesque places and took pictures of us we will treasure forever. We had a wine tasting at a small vineyard that was so good. We then enjoyed traditional, local cuisine at a restaurant with a view of the entire island and caldera. I would recommend this tour and guide for your next trip to Santorini, Greece.

Fantastic experience in Santorini - Akis was our guide and we couldn’t have asked for a better one. He is native to Santorini and knows the island and its history better than anyone.
He got us to the best views and photo spots of iconic blue domes, windmills and beautiful vistas. The private tour took us to several towns from the north to the south, stopping at his favorite spots which quickly became our favorites too.
Highly recommend Golden Ibex and Akis!

Exploring Santorini: A Family Tour to Remember with Amani - Our long-overdue review of our unforgettable family cruise, which included stops in Santorini, couldn't be complete without mentioning our incredible private tour with Amani. We were traveling with three generations—grandparents, teens, and everyone in between—and Amani catered to us all perfectly.
From the start, Amani was amazing, informative, and so friendly. Since she’s a local, she knew all the best spots for taking family photos and got us to all the right spots before they filled with tourists.
One of the highlights was the food—Amani took us to local spots where we tasted the most delicious Greek dishes, including some incredible local ice cream that we still talk about! Her knowledge of the best spots really enhanced our experience.
Our tour covered the best parts of Santorini, from the charming village of Pyrgos to the breathtaking views in Oia. We also had the chance to taste some delicious local wines at a winery.
The beauty of the private tour was the flexibility—we could adjust the itinerary based on what we wanted to see. For a quick stop like ours, having Amani guide us was invaluable. We truly can’t recommend her services enough!

The BEST Santorini tour - We had an amazing day with Akis. He showed us what felt like all of Santorini and gave us insight into local life, as well as a thorough history lesson. He is so kind and funny; he kept the day moving with jokes and tidbits. He also was very thoughtful of our pace and tailored the day to suit our interests and abilities. Amongst the many stops, one of my favorites was a winery. There we had a delicious wine tasting and tour of the vineyard. He also showed us around Oia, Fira, Pyrgos, Kamari, and many other towns and sites. He’s also a skilled and enthusiastic photographer!! We had an unforgettable day and highly recommend Golden Ibex!

Santorini Tour experience with Golden Ibex Tours - Our tour experience of Santorini was nothing short of amazing. Akis is the best tour guide you could ask for. His attention to every detail and smooth transition from place to place was amazing. He took very good care of our children and bought them ice cream. I will recommend him any day and will patronize him anytime in Santorini. Shout out to Amani for organizing this tour experience as well. Thank you Golden Ibex Tours.

A truly memorable experience - We had a full day Santorini tour covering some of the main cities, ending with oia. Akis was our guide throughout the whole thing and kept it interesting with his humour and intellect. He was very accommodative and understanding, making sure we got our moneys worth.

Excellent private tour - My family and I have cruised multiple times before and used various other private tour providers. This was by far the best experience we have ever had on a shore excursion. We were able to see parts of the island that really showed the true beauty of Santorini and not just the tourist side. We never felt rushed and were always well taken care of. My son had the best time and says this was his favorite day of our entire trip. This is a must do while in Santorini. Highly recommend!

Magical Night on Santorini - Amani took us on a private tour to experience Easter and see the beautiful small towns of Santorini. Her knowledge of Santorini's history and culture made for an amazing tour. Amani and her husband did everything possible to make this a day to remember. The highlight was watching the Church and Castle in Pyros be lit up by
over a thousand torches on Good Friday Night. It was magical and once in a lifetime experience.

Best tour of our visit to Greece - My wife and I had several tours on our trip to Athens and the islands, and this was by far the best. We booked a 5 hour tour of the Akritori site, a traditional small town, and two wineries to sample their wines. All of it was excellent.
The visit to Akritori was great, even though much of the settlement still hasn’t been excavated, mostly because we had a fantastic guide, Evi, specifically for that part of the tour. She was clear and knowledgeable and gave thoughtful answers, a marked contrast to guides who have a patter and won't substantially answer any questions.
I have nothing but good things to say about Amani and her husband/driver/guide Akis, who is an architect by trade and has a deep understanding of how and why things on Santorini were and are built as they are. They were excellent guides and great company, and they knew who to hand things off to provide us with an expert archaeological tour.
Our five hour tour lasted seven hours because we spent so much time at Akritori. Not only with no complaints but Amani made restaurant recommendations and in one case, making us a reservation for Easter Sunday lunch the next day. And she later checked up on how we liked the restaurant. Nothing but raves here.
