• Santorini Old Harbor - The Old Port beneath the capital, Fira, served as the island’s main entrance until 1960. It was accessible only by steps, though now a cable car is available. This offers a clear perspective on the challenges of life in Santorini before it became a popular tourist destination. The area is also a hub for cruise ships, which can make it crowded, but this does not detract from the experience.
• Nea Kameni Volcanic Park - Upon request, a stop can be made at the Nea Kameni volcanic park, showcasing the most recent eruptions of Santorini’s volcano, allowing for a closer examination.
• Nea Kameni - Even if the volcanic park is not visited, the skipper will provide detailed information about the volcanic activities that formed the Caldera. The first stop will be for swimming at the island’s thermal springs, where the active volcano warms the sea water to temperatures reaching 100 degrees Fahrenheit in some areas. The mineral-rich waters also offer beneficial effects for the skin.
• Palea Kameni - This is the first lava island to emerge from the center of the crater after the major activity that formed the Caldera. Here, the flow of lava rising from the sea creates stunning landscapes. On its southern side, there is a beach with crystal-clear waters. If requested, the skipper will gladly stop for a visit, weather permitting.
• Thirassia - The next destination is Thirassia, located on the west side of the Santorini volcano before it split into three parts. The cuts reveal the volcano’s formation through successive eruptions. Visitors can swim or snorkel in the pristine waters, reminiscent of Santorini in the 1990s, as tourism has not heavily impacted the area. While guests swim, traditional products are prepared and ready for them after their swim.
• Oia - Finally, the renowned village of Oia, with its white buildings resembling melting snow and iconic blue domes perched on the Caldera cliffs. The skipper will cruise beneath the village, offering views as the journey passes through Ammoudi village and along the entire village.
