Dion and Mount Olympus - Giannis is a great tour guide. He's very knowledgeable and very kind. I absolutely loved Dion Archaeological Park; definitely worth the visit. It's so green, serene and filled with ancient history. Mount Olympus is beautiful and so was the village we went to for late lunch, which is at the base of Mount Olympus called Litochoro. Agia Kori Waterfalls was the highlight of the trip. It was a much needed cool down in the sweltering heat and was so beautiful to swim in. I wish we had 1.5 - 2 hours to spend here, rather than 1 hour, so that I had time to visit the church at the bottom of the 200 steps because of the amazing legend that is associated with Agia Kori Church (Giannis can tell you the amazing myth).

Overall great experience - Our tour guide, Nick, was very knowledgeable and helpful during this trip. He was able to answer any questions we had and also allowed us plenty of time to enjoy the sites we went to. We started off by going to Litochoro, where we grabbed some breakfast and took time to take photos of Mt. Olympus. After this, we headed towards Agia Kori. There was a small hike to the pool area, but it was well worth it, and the views and atmosphere were amazing. We then spent quite a bit of time at the pool to swim and dip our feet and relax. After this, we headed to the archaeological site of Dion. There was a bit of a situation with another lady there (not part of the group or company), but Nick handled it very well despite how aggressive she was. He then allowed us a decent chunk of free time to explore the site before we headed to the archaeological museum. We also stopped for food at a nearby taverna, which had amazing service and food.

A MUST DO in Thessaloniki! 🇬🇷 - Hello! Aerospace Engineer and Nautical Archaeologist, here. Toils and his colleagues were exceptional hosts and guides. Possessing a history, intn’l affairs and archaeology background and advanced degrees set this tour apart from any I’ve ever been on. This is my 93rd country and I steer clear of organized tours. This one? I’d do again. Tikis has a great understanding of the regional history from pre-history, Hellenistic, Roman and modern periods. I cannot recommend enough. After this I made my way to the Royal Tombs and new museums from Veroia to Vergina. I would have used this group but I had to leave before a trip was available. 5 stars. Stephanie, from Texas

Great trip to Mt. Olympos and Dios! - Great experience! It was easy to find the tour guide at the meeting spot, the drive up was only about an hour and in a comfortable bus with about 20 other people. The tour guide gave us a lot of history on the way. We went to multiple museums and a fun hike where we saw a turtle, goat, and some great views. Highly recommend!

Great day out - A great day out from Thessaloniki. The first stop was for a hike in the Epihea gorge. The trek involved a 20 min walk through the town of Litochoro where the bus parked. The walk was mostly uphill but not too strenuous. Then when we got to the gorge, it was a 20-25 min walk along a level path (with a few steps) to the end where you can see the waterfall. Then back again to the coach for the next stop at Dion Archealogical Park. We were allowed just over an hour and a half, and I think this is too short. We are brisk walkers and we only covered about 90-95% of the park. I think you need 2 hours here. The City ruins were great to see but the other half was a bit disappointing. Finally we then went to the museum (2 mins drive away) and lunch in a traditional taverna (own cost). The museum was ok, great to see the best of the statues and artefacts taken from the Dion site. We had an hour and a half for lunch and museum which was about right. WE got back into Thessaloniki at about 5pm so in total the day was 8 hours.
