Great balanced itinerary to see lots of things, but without all the rush. - We had a spare day whilst in Greece auditing, so we made the decision to book an excursion in advance so that we could maximise out time. The joining instructions were clear, and the main square had two different trips meeting up, but the guides clearly directed you to the correct one. The trip to Dion & Mt Olympus was a very good and well balanced trip with enough time to get a small flavour of the area, without making it too rushed. We had the trip to the Waterfall, Dion Ruins, Mt Olympus visitor centre, and Litichoro refuge up in the foothills before a small hike in the forest. We even had a few moments to do a collective micro-meditation focusing on the here and now - centring on the sounds of the waterfall! Very therapeutic.

This was a fun day out... - This was a fun day out with the family. Seeing the ruins and ancient thermal baths was very interesting. We had plenty of time to enjoy then off to Litochoro to see Mt. Olympus up close. Our guide opted for an easy hike to a very pretty waterfall. It was very peaceful there. After the falls, we had free time for lunch and shopping. We had the perfect amount of time. It was nice to have someone else drive and plan the day. Enjoy!

Excellent experience - Absolutely outstanding guide. He was an archaeologist and added so much to the trip. He was knowledgeable about all sites and answered many random questions we had. We had a great time — our favorite part was the hike.

Highly recommend - We were a small tour group this day, so we travelled by van instead of bus. Our tour guide, Dimitris, was incredibly friendly and knowledgable. The sights were beautiful. Litochoro was a charming surprise

Nice trip but not enough of Olympus - The trip was overall very nice, the guides were lovely and shared a lot of information about the areas we visited and the mountain in general. But we barely got to see the mountain, which seems like missing the point a bit. The start at the waterfall was great, Dion Archaeological Park was not as impressive as expected but we were expecting that the next part, as it says right here in the description: "Next, visit Mt. Olympus, the home of the gods in Greek mythology, and walk in the Epinea Gorge to absorb the scenery surrounding the peak..." For some reason the course of the trip was changed. We never got to the Epinea Gorge which online looks like a gorgeous place. The guide explained that they decided to take us to another spot that should be better. We were taken to a hike in a woods, which again was nice enough but we kept expecting to get to some sort of a viewpoint, it never happened as we just kept walking in the woods with only naked trees around us and after a long walk the guide said that we're heading back taking the very same route that we just walked. I'll be honest, it was boring and pointless, we could take that hike pretty much anywhere. I don't understand why we were taken to this location instead of all the impressive viewpoints that we could see in the same area (I checked in Google and even in past reviews here). We took this trip because we wanted to see the unique views of Mount Olympus, we barely got a glimpse of it. I believe that the changes made in the last part of this trip make no sense and waste the time that could be spent in places such as the Epinea Gorge for example.

The mountain is a... - The mountain is a challenging and rewarding. I hope we could spend more time there. I also hope the tour guide could explain more about the mythology, history's and culture.
