Breathtaking views,... - Breathtaking views, providing weather plays ball. Obviously involves a certain amount of going up/down steps, but not too steep. Lunch comes after the touring has finished. Excellent friendly guide. Careful coach driver. Some rock stepping so appropriate footwear recommended.

Unforgettable experience at Meteora - If you are visiting this part of Greece, a tour to the monasteries of Meteora is absolutely a must. The site is stunning, words cannot describe what you feel at the sight of the mountains and the monasteries perched on their peaks. We met our tour leader Eleni at Aristotle Square at 8am. The bus ride was quite long (about 3,5 hours) but along the way there was a 20 min stop to go to the toilet and buy snacks and drinks. The driver was also very careful. Around midday we arrived there and we visited two monasteries. Eleni had previously explained us what we were going to visit. They also stopped at a panoramic point to take the best photos ever. After the visit to the second monastery, there was the lunch break at a local restaurant suggested by them but you can also take your own food (which we did because the restaurant is quite pricey). We would like to thank our tour leader Eleni because she was really helpful. We were lucky enough to make two tours with her and on both occasions she showed that she really cared about us. She proved to be well prepared and explained things in a simple way. She was very patient and always with a smile. She is a great asset for your company!

Meteora trip - worth it. - Very well organized. Very prompt. New tour guide but she did a fantastic job. When we were at lunch she went to every table and made sure that all was well. The restaurant that was recommended at lunch was excellent. Meteora was worth the visit.

Recommended - The trip is very good. The site is a must, the nature morphology is very rare. Thee guide is so nice and helpful. The driver is dood as well. Only one thing bothered me (their choice of restaurant), the owner is a cheater, ordered a steak of 300 g and I hot 100. And when I asked to wight it, she went like no problem start eating and we bring another one for free. I swear the two sticks combined wont wait for than 200 g. So be careful with them or find another. It is parisian prices anyway.

Great trip but be aware of a couple of things - Be aware that this is a long day. The tour runs from 8 AM to 8 PM. Six hours of the trip is driving from Thessaloniki to the monasteries and back, plus all the driving in between to and from the monasteries. There is a lot of traffic around Thessaloniki to contend with. There was also a significant amount of climbing stairs. but it was definitely worth it. The monasteries and surrounding area are breathtaking. The only negative about this trip is that they played rap music on the bus on the way up. On the way back they played much more pleasant music, so maybe someone said something. Hopefully they will not do this again, or you could mention it at the start of the trip. The restaurant that they took us to for lunch is in a beautiful setting and had good food. Entrance to the monasteries is cash only. Try to avoid the trip on a holiday, as I went on Easter Monday and it was crazy busy. The bus driver was excellent at maneuvering through the streets filled with cars.
