Had a fantastic time! - We booked this tour last minute, and had a great time visiting Pu Luong. The tour worked to ensure that we did as many activities as possible given the stormy weather. Our guides were very knowledgeable about the local areas and gave great information. October was a great time to visit as the rice fields were beautiful

Beautiful setting, amazing sites - We had such an amazing time on our private tour with Nga! She was so informative and fun. We hiked, we cycled, we had a lovely lunch by a waterfall. Because it’s August, of course there was a lot of rain, but it was so warm we found it refreshing in the heat. The hotel was beautiful, comfortable, and clean. The sites and what we learned from Nga will give us the best memories!

3 Days in Pu Luong – A Peaceful Adventure Full of Charm - My 3-day trip to Pu Luong was the perfect mix of adventure, culture, and relaxation. It all started with a pick-up straight from my hotel in Tam Coc, followed by a scenic drive to Pu Luong, where I checked into a charming three-star resort. The room was excellent – clean, comfortable bed, a great shower, and a beautiful view. The pool was… slightly green, but still good enough for a refreshing dip – and let’s be honest, that's all you need after a travel day! On the first day, we set off on a lovely hike through the lush landscape. On the second day we were taken to various spots, including a "bamboo rafting" experience – though don't expect wild rapids! It was more like a peaceful float on a bamboo platform with a table in the middle, where we were served a simple but tasty lunch: fries, a bit of fish, chicken, and a flavorful dipping sauce. It was unexpectedly delightful! Our young and enthusiastic guide made the trip fun – his English was okay, but his energy more than made up for it. We visited a small traditional weaving workshop and tried some typical tourist-friendly activities. In the evening, just the guide and I hiked to a nearby waterfall where I took a refreshing swim. It was serene, and I had plenty of time to just unwind and enjoy the surroundings. Interestingly, while I started the trip with two friendly Australians, for the last day and a half it was just me and the guide – which made the experience feel even more personal. On the final day, we visited a local market together and later were welcomed into a Hmong family’s home, where we prepared our own meal – think rustic, open-air cooking like at a campsite. Within 30–45 minutes, we had a full spread: chicken, shrimp, rice, and morning glory. It was delicious, and the setting made it even more special. Our hosts generously offered rice wine, tea, and fresh fruit, making it a warm, memorable moment. To top it off, we took a short bike ride and later a 30-minute ride on a buffalo car. Nothing was physically demanding – everything was just a short distance away – but I saw so much and came away with a head full of great memories. If you're looking for an authentic, relaxed, and enriching experience in Vietnam, I’d highly recommend this discovery trio to Pu Luong. It’s not about ticking off sights, but about enjoying moments – and I had plenty of those.

Beautiful experience - The two-night, three-day tour to Pu Luong was really nice and well organized. The guides are prepared (we stayed with Tony for the first trek and with Nga for the next two days). Both were fantastic, very kind and ready to answer any questions and to meet you for any difficulty. Pu Luong is wonderful and with our guides we were able to fully experience nature and local culture.

Pu Luong Nature - I had a fabulous time with my amazing tour guide Nga! She was very informative and funny and made the trip very entertaining. I enjoyed all of the activities and the cooking class was great. My favourite part was floating down the river on the bamboo boat with a delicious lunch. It was great to be back to nature for a few days of relaxation.
