The 100 Degrees East Marine Team offers an exceptional snorkeling tour to Koh Tao, providing the best snorkeling experience from Koh Samui. The tour accommodates up to 12 adults, or 14 guests when including children aged 4 to 12, and is supported by a crew of 5 or more. Guests will have the opportunity to explore the breathtaking coral reefs of Koh Tao at three distinct locations. Skilled and knowledgeable snorkel guides will lead participants to the top snorkeling spots at Koh Tao. The tour is designed to be leisurely, allowing guests to maximize their snorkeling time away from the crowds. For groups larger than four, please reach out to check availability.
- Bookings for groups of 5 or more travellers must be made directly, we can not guarantee that separate bookings made for the same group will be scheduled on the same boat.
- Minimum number of guests required. We will notify you by 4.00 PM a day prior to your tour, if we didn’t reach minimum guests required to operate. You will have the option to cancel your reservation or change to the next available tour.

Very professional and great fun day with 100 Degrees East - We had a fabulous day with 100 Degrees East doing 2 dives in Koh Tao. Cara, the owner, was really accommodating as we were a mixed group of snorkellers and scuba divers. The team was ultra professional with the dive masters having a maximum ratio of 4 diver to 1 dive master and each sub-group had its own briefing. The kit was in v good condition. The coral and marine life was fabulous for both snorkelled and divers and the mini snorkelling trip at the end meant we saw a large turtle. It was a lovely day. Not the cheapest but worth the money.

The tour is worth the money! - Competent, friendly care, enough to drink and eat, enough time for snorkeling and diving. Best tour of the holiday. Booking communication relatively extensive and English. Diving guide on site then even German speaking.

I'm surprised by how great it was - I'm legitimately surprised by how well everything went, the owner was very nice and the crew was genuinely super nice and helpful. They made sure we were taken care of in every aspect including picture taking, they've clearly had a ton of practice because the pictures they took with our phones came out perfect. I'm so glad I went with them. I'd recommend them to anyone that wants a great experience and beautiful memorable pictures.

Sensational snorkeling trip - Phew - what can you say here?
It was just perfect from start to finish.
Staff courteous, helpful and well organized.
You have to take care of nothing from the pick up to the return at the hotel, except smear yourself with sunscreen =)
We can only recommend this tour to anyone.

Most enjoyable snorkeling - You may find cheaper dive trips but this one was definitely worth the money. Their professional approach and attention to detail is evident from the minute you arrive. There were 12 of us snorkelling/diving and 7 crew with us on the boat. Once we arrived at the destination we were split up into groups of 4, each of us with a guide to show us the corals and fish. Our guide was passionate about the corals and fish, showing us things and taking photos for us if they were too far to dive down. He also made sure constantly that we felt safe. We were given a delicious lunch on Kho Tao and then two more opportunities to snorkel before we headed back to Kho Samui. I've been on other snorkel trips in the Maldives, but this was way, way more organised and professional. Bravo Team!

Koh Tao VIP Snorkelling Tour - Our snorkel tour with 100 Degrees East was easily one of the best experiences we had in Thailand. Booking was simple and straightforward — Cara handled everything directly and was incredibly responsive. She offered the flexibility to pay on the day or by credit card (you cover the processing 3% fee), and the deposit process online was quick and secure.
What really sets 100 Degrees East apart is how intentionally they plan their routes. The team goes out of their way to operate opposite the big tour groups, which meant we were often the only ones in the water. No crowds, no getting kicked by fins from groups of 50 (this alone is why they are worth playing slightly more per person to book them over other tour operators) — just peaceful snorkeling and uninterrupted views of the reef.
They also navigate all the variables that come with the ocean — weather, tides, animal movement, and even the behavior of other operators — with a level of professionalism that made us feel safe the entire time. Their awareness and adaptability were obvious from start to finish.
The small‑group setup is another huge plus. The boats max out at around 12 people, and with nearly as many guides on board, the experience feels almost one‑on‑one once you’re in the water. We saw an incredible amount of coral and marine life, and the guides were always close by, pointing things out and making sure everyone was comfortable.
If you’re looking for a snorkel tour on Koh Tao that’s personal, well‑run, and far from the chaos of the big operators, 100 Degrees East is absolutely the way to go. We couldn’t recommend them more.
As a fellow boat owner, every dollar counts when it comes to boat maintenance with those powerful engines that are getting you safely out to the reefs - considering booking directly with them.

Excellent snorkeling experience - We booked two tours in a row with 100 Degrees East, without any prior experience of the company. From what we experienced I can confidently say that the level of quality on each excursion is consistent and high.Â
We started with a hotel pickup in a comfortable minivan which was exactly on time. We were then taken to the main office for a briefing, to be fitted for snorkeling gear and to pick up the water bottles they provided. We were also introduced to our very friendly guides. Then we took a short walk down to the beach to board our boat.
This was the second of our tours with the company and we were delighted to see some familiar faces amongst the crew, who greeted us warmly, more as friends than customers.Â
The boat is comfortable, spacious and has an onboard toilet. There are plenty of choices for seating and plenty of soft drinks and water available in a huge ice chest in the center of the boat. The crew were all lovely and were constantly running about and going the extra mile to ensure our safety and comfort. On the way out Dominik gave us a great explanation of all the fish we would likely see on the tour and taught us some safety signals for our peace of mind. His knowledge as a guide was fantastic and he could tell us which fish we'd seen from even the most vague descriptions.
We visited three snorkeling sites, one before lunch and two after. Each site was unique and had something different to offer. They had clearly been carefully chosen to complement each other. Even though there were other boats around, our guides took us on routes that avoided other snorkelers, making the experience feel very private. Everyone who wanted was given a life jacket and the guide also carried a life ring to tow any tired guests so they wouldn't miss out.Â
A really nice lunch was served on a nearby beach and afterwards we were given some time to sunbathe and enjoy the area. We were given plenty of time to digest before heading to the next snorkeling spot.
After finishing snorkeling we were taken back to the company office, where staff helped us wash the sand off our feet and we used the facilities before being taken back to our hotels by minivan.Â
100 Degrees East have clearly fine tuned the formula for what makes a truly great tour experience. The crew were fantastic from start to finish and the thoughtful little extras really added a level of polish that I have rarely seen by any tour company. This company sets the standard for others to beat and I would 100% recommend them.

A Must Do Excursion - The best snorkeling experience that we have ever had. The water was so clear, no trash. We saw so much sea life, even a few sea turtles. The experience was second to none! Everyone was very professional

Amazing day! - This was one of the best things on holiday my partner and I have ever done. It was such an incredible day, we were well looked after and had so much fun. The boat trip over to Koh Tao was great, lovely boat and lots of space and shade. We visited 3 snorkelling sites which the team chose, and they were all incredible. The guides were amazing pointing out lots of things to us. They catered for all our needs. The lunch at Koh Tao was so yummy, they provided authentic thai food. We saw sea turtles a few times! Would absoulutely recommend this tour to family and friends, Cara and the team are amazing. We would love to do it again one day :)
