Worth while trip - You will get soaked but there are places to change during the day. Bring a swim suit, towel, and shoes/sandles you don't mind getting wet Rafting was great and gives a view you would not normally see of Thailand. My wife and son had a great time feeding the elephants.

Elephant Sanctuary + Waterfall + Bamboo Rafting One Day Trip - This was an outstanding experience enjoyed by myself and my wife. We started with the Bamboo River Rafting which was tremendous fun. Then to the Mae Wang Elephant sanctuary. The tour was unbelievable with his knowledge and the way he engaged with everyone. I really memorable experience. We then had a great lunch and then visited the water fall which was very scenic

A perfect day - The elephant sanctuary was a good way to intermingle with the elephants. One got to feed them, bathe with them in the mud or the water and just pet them. The bamboo rafting was an experience in itself with some rapids in areas. The waterfall was a good place to cool off but not the highlight of the day.

A fun local experience, - I had a wonderful time! It was really fun rafting down the river, seeing elephants, fauna and flora along the way. But the real thrill was the elephants! As is with most animals, their stomach rules the roost, and these guys had the routine down pat knowing there were multiple treats involved at each stop. You could tell they were loved and well treated. The waterfall dulled, compared to the rest of the trip. Food was very local...enjoyed it...our hostess was wonderful and very sweet. (I think her name was "Eet" I think). And the rest of our group was fun, too.

A great elephant experience - This was a great day out - small group, really efficient and the food was good also. The elephant sanctuary was actually really nice, definitely the best elephant experience i have ever had in Asia. It is a family business and they have been working with those elephants for generations, really happy animals and really friendly, no ropes or chains or sticks just really good communication with the carer and animal. The raft ride is surprisingly long and fun, but make sure you wear bug spray! Lots of midgies on the river. There is a little coffee shop and a lady cooking fried banana at the lunch stop, make sure to try!

Full day and experiences - The day started with a pickup from our hotel. We went directly to the bamboo river rafting. We were given a chance to change ahead of time, which was nice even though our family was prepared with swimsuits already on. Loved the rafting, wished it could have gone on longer. (You will get wet, no avoiding it). Then on to the elephants. They were beautiful and amazing and incredible- all the superlatives. Lunch was ok, not the best food we've had. The rest of trip, the visit to the Karen Hill Tribe felt a bit forced and artificial. The waterfall was pretty cool and an easy walk.

Good for elephants - Ethical sanctuary. Very friendly guide and driver. Van was clean. Would have liked more facts about elephants, seemed rushed.

Fair enough. - The excursion was quite rigorous, the guide super attentive and very nice. The sanctuary is not only to observe but you act with them, the very very scarce food
