- Phra Maha Dhatu Naphamethinidon and Naphaphonphumisiri Pagoda - Admire the two adjacent pagodas built to commemorate the 60th birthdays of the King and Queen in 1987 and 1992, respectively. One is named Naphamethinidon, meaning “by the strength of the land and air,” and the other, Naphaphonphumisiri, meaning “being the strength of the air and the grace of the land.” These mirrored structures are the highest-altitude pagodas in Thailand. : During the “Winter season from 01 Nov until 31 Apr,” trekking is at Kiew Mae Pan.
On the Pha Dok Siew trail, visitors will trek for 2 hours through the jungle along a narrow mountain path leading to a stunning hidden waterfall amidst lush jungle. Before reaching the Karen hill tribe village, trekkers will pass through farmland with coffee plantations and beautiful rice terraces. (The best time to see this is from July to mid-November.)

Kew Mae Pan - * Trekking is available here only during the “Winter season (from 01 Nov until the end of Apr.)”
: Outside this season, trekking is at the Pha Dok Siew trail.
