Highly recommended boat excursion - This was a full day excursion as noted. First snorkeling, then onward to another island location for lunch, leisure beaching & some relaxation time on the secluded beach followed by kayaking. Lastly, a quick boat ride to Emerald Lagoon, where we had to make steep climbs up quite a few stairways for a glorious view of Emerald Lagoon. My husband moaned and groaned throughout the whole climb but in the end, it was worth it! I wouldn’t recommend the climb for anyone that is not as fit and on the heavier side, just saying it would be an arduous task. Now, if you’re young and springy, have at it! Snorkeling was our favorite as we got to see lots of marine life. There were about 12-14 of us and we were separated into groups of 4 with a guide. Our guide Star, was amazing! and as a first time snorkeler, I took advantage of the assistance from him who had a small float for people like me needing to build up snorkeling confidence. I grabbed onto the float rope attached and Star would drag it to all the cool spots while I stuck my head down to see the various marine life. Only during the last 10 minutes did I find my confidence/courage to let go and wow to my amazement, I didn’t float away. Furthermore, there were plenty of drinks on board, a decent lunch was provided and on the boat, fruits were passed out after each activity. Oh and almost forgot to mention the crew even took pictures for us when photo opportunities arose. Overall, the crew members were absolutely amazing! Super attentive to everyone’s needs, made sure we were hydrated, looked after our belongings at each location and provided great service. In our opinion, this excursion was worth the price as we felt cared for and looked after during the trip. Thank you to the 100 Mile Marine Team for a memorable experience!

Don't hesitate - just book it!! - We are a family of four with two children aged 8 and 11 and we were specifically looking for a trip that would enable my husband and 11 year old to dive whilst me and the 8 year old snorkelled! We did some research and found the 100 degree east team and we are so lucky that we did as our experience with them from start to finish was wonderful. Having done many day trips over the years, I can say that they are the most professionally run outfit I've ever come across. From the moment we emailed them with an enquiry, I knew we had found the right people! We are staying on the south of the island and the driver picked us up on time. It took maybe 30 mins to get to their base at the top of the island and we were met by the lovely owner Cara and her team, where we were given numbered water bottles for the day (excellent sustainability programme), we were fitted for fins and told what to expect for the day. We then had a 60 second walk to the speedboat. It was maybe an hour to the National Park from there and then we did the snorkelling/diving. There were 14 on our tour and we all split off into separate groups with our own guides. Me and my daughter had a wonderful time snorkelling with our lovely guide (aided by the high quality equipment that they have) and we watched my husband and daughter diving below at some points! The Marine life at the national park is beautiful and abundant the coral reef looks to be thriving, which is heartening as lots around the world are not due to over tourism and bleaching. As soon as we got out of the water we were given a short freshwater shower and and towel. We were then taken to an idyllic secluded beach for some chill out time and lunch. It was so lovely to just lie in the shade of a plam tree for a while and not be rushed. There were one or two other boats there at the same time but it was not busy at all - it felt really private. Lunch was fantastic- my kids ate it all! We then went sea kayaking (a personal highlight despite needing to be rescued by two of the guides because of the wind and because we were rubbish at it! ) and after getting back on the boat we headed to the Emerald Lagoon lookout. The stairs to the lookout were steep but it was an adventure and we had lots of fun, plus the views are out of this world. Back on the boat we headed back to Samui but before we landed back at the dock we were given chilled cloths to freshen up - what attention to detail! The staff on the boat were fantastic and couldn't do enough for you, there were unlimited complimentary soft drinks included and fresh fruit was handed around a couple of times too. My husband also wanted to give a special mention to his dive instructor (Alex) for the care and attention he gave to him and my daughter - they really loved the diving and felt safe the whole time. Our snorkelling guide was also amazing. If you are looking for a 5 star small group tour then this is the company to go for. For the experience we had, i would have expected to pay a lot more money - it's excellent value and you will have a fantastic day! Just book it!

Great tour. - This is a must do tour in Koh Samui. There were 12 people on the boat and 6 staff. The places we went to were gorgeous and as oldies the staff could not do enough. Whilst we pretty much did our own thing everyone else came back saying it was amazing. Thoroughly recommend to everyone

Just brilliant! - This was one of the best boat trips we have ever been on! From the smooth booking and enquires with Cara to the day of the trip was all excellent! I am a nervous swimmer in deep water and wanted to try out the snorkelling and kayaking and where else to do that but in Thailand! Cara assured me the guides were all experienced and would be by my side and make me feel safe and able to enjoy the experience. What can I say Ping Ping our guide on the day was just brilliant and made me feel assured and safe whilst I enjoyed snorkelling for the first time! Overall the experience was so wonderful and couldn’t fault it at all. We were a family of 4 with two teenage children. Our children said the trip was the highlight of their holiday and really enjoyed the whole day. We wanted to book this experience mainly because of the amazing reviews, trip is only for small numbers and has a personal touch. All the guides were amazing on the day, making sure we were safe at all times, ensuring we had enough water throughout the day, explaining everything to us clearly, pointing out areas of interest whilst on the boat, using our phones to take lots of photos of us throughout the day, putting on a wonderful lunch on an idyllic beach where we felt we the only people on the island. We saw so much fish whilst we were snorkelling, our guide was brilliant at diving down to point out fish, sea creatures and coral so we didn’t miss them. Kayaking was so much fun too. The climb to the top of the Emerald Lagoon was steep but easy to walk up and so worth every step for the amazing views. Thank you to everyone at 100 Degrees East Dive Team for making this trip so memorable during our holiday in Koh Samui. Highly recommended.

Zen and VIP experience with very friendly staff - I appreciate the small group, privilege experience. 6 staff for 12 guests the full day is great. They lead the snorkling session to be sure you don't miss any fish or coral. the lunch on the beach and kayak in the lagoon was also a zen experience compared to the massive groups we have seen in larger boat. The climb up the hill is just a 5mn climb, but I think it is not the highest point to have a great view of the Marine reserve. I have seen other photos taken from the top of a white stair, it was not where we were. Our climb was shorter (5-10mn) but less good view. We took only the stairs that take to the green lagoon (wich was already a challenge for non fit people). Overall, I am very glad we did this tour. Group excursions in Thailand can feel very low standard bur makes you feel privilege and unique. Special mention to the staff who takes all our phones and takes photos individually of each couple/familly while kayaking or on top of the hill.

It hardly gets better:) - This trip is highly recommended. It's all well organized and you feel like you're in good hands all day and you don't have to worry about anything. I have rarely seen such an attentive crew! The trip is a bit more expensive in comparison, but absolutely worth its money. There are only a few participants on board and attempts are made to avoid the crowds of tourists (which was excellent). Would book here again!
