Animal excursion without exploitation - If you only see the pictures it looks a bit like a big zoo, most animals are mostly in pens, but the story behind it makes it interesting, and that story is well told. This is really a rescue for animals that have been abused, abused for entertainment, neglected, or just so sickened that they can no longer go out into the wild. The aim is to get them back into nature, but where that cannot be done they stay in the park and are well cared for. They also try to mimic the natural habitat here as much as possible. Was very interesting, and especially an 'animal excursion' without exploitation, and also for a good cause.

A wonderful day at this inspirational rescue centre. - An incredible day out at this amazing place. We were collected from our hotel as planned and the day was well organised with a delicious lunch included. This was one of the most inspirational visits that we have made. The dedication and love shown to the animals, by the staff, is remarkable. These animals have had the most traumatic lives before being rescued and now live in peace in this wonderful setting. Our guide, Zen?, was so knowledgeable, knew the names of the animals and was very interesting to listen to. The life stories of the animals that we saw were heartbreaking but seeing the lives that they live now, down to the care and dedication of the staff, is uplifting. A truly amazing place and a must for anyone visiting this area of Thailand. An education experience for adults and children.

A must visit! - It never ceases to amaze me, the cruelty humans inflict on animals. The foundation rescues injured and mistreated animal, brings them back to health, and allows them to live a comfortable life. Due to their circumstances, it is highly unlikely and sometimes impossible to be able to rewild the rescued animals to release into their natural habitat. However, as said, they do get a better life. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and any questions she was unable to answer, she found out from her colleagues. The team of volunteers and staff appears dedicated and passionate, wanting to make a difference. I would urge anyone thinking of taking this trip to do so, support the foundation, and have a wonderful day whilst learning a great deal. I would highly recommend it. Suitable for families, couples.

A must do experience if you're in this part of Thailand. - My partner and I had an absolutely fantastic experience at the Wildlife Rescue Center. It was great to hear all the stories of animals taken from horrible circumstances, and given new leases on life. The volunteers and staff, were friendly and knowledgable. I can't recommend this experience enough.
