Excellent! - My experience with Jesus as a tour guide could not have been better! He was punctual, an excellent driver, very knowledgeable, and spoke great English. His narrative was extremely informative and he answered all of my questions. I highly recommend him and this private tour...it was worth the cost.

Trip highlight! - This ended up being one of my favorite tours I’ve taken. The pyramids were so unique, and I learned so much from our guide. He also wasn’t bound by the schedule as much as other tours. There was a festival in town, so he stopped and let us go explore and see what they’re all about. It was a fantastic detour that didn’t cause use to miss anything else. None of the other guides had done anything like this. He was also really good about us getting our pictures and letting us get souvenirs. He told us what was a good price and what we should avoid. Definitely a recommended tour. A highlight of our trip!

Great tour - Mauricio picked us up at our hotel and drove us to Gauchimontones, a distillery, the town of Tequila, and a cantina. He provided lots of tips and recommendations for our trip and was knowledgable about all of the places he took us. Additionally, we had an excellent tour guide at Gauchimontones.

Wonderful Experience - Highly Recommended! - My wife and I had an excellent full-day private tour with Jesús. He picked us up promptly from our hotel, led us on a tour of Guachimontones, took us around a great tequila distillery, explained the tequila-making process to us and guided us through a tasting. After lunch and wandering in the town of Tequila, we wrapped up our day at Cantaritos el Güerro before he drove us back to Guadalajara and dropped us off at our hotel again. Jesús was very knowledgable, funny, and spoke excellent English. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone!

Excellent adventure - Entire tour was fantastic. From pickup at the hotel, to tasting the one of the world's best tequilas and seeing some of the most fascinating archeological remains, best tour in town!

Great Day! - Guachimontones was really special. It’s a sacred and impressive site with a really nice visitor center with a video to watch. I think our guide, Jesus, made it all the more wonderful. He has great knowledge about the site and his enthusiasm shows in his face when he’s talking about it. We also went to a family run small tequila distillery and learned all about the process. Once again, Jesus was very knowledgeable and described all the steps. Of course we tasted all different tequilas and even digestive tequila for after dinner that comes in different flavors. It was a really great way to spend a day!

Value for money, recommendable - lot of value for money, Guachimontones is a great place to go... some might say not as beautiful as some other archaeological locations, but much older and, in my view, more special. The Tequila part of the tour is also lots of value for money, with some great tasting experiences

Great day spent - Nice way to get out and see the country side of Guadalajara. The extra money was worth it for the private tours. Guides were friendly and knowledgeable.

False representation, book a cheaper tour. - I spent weeks picking out the perfect tour for when we were in Guadalajara because I knew exactly where I wanted to go. I wanted to see the Guachimontones, go to a distillery, Tequila town, Mirador Tequila, and have a cantarito at Cantaritos el Guero #1. I ended up paying quite a bit more for this tour because it was the one that offered all of these exact stops. I skipped over plenty of cheaper tours that offered some of these, but not all. I confirmed the itinerary with our tour guide when he picked us up. Everything was fine until we left Tequila town. We were supposed to head to the last two stops, but without asking, he chose to skip them and take us to a really sad replica. I was so disappointed. It put such a huge damper on a day I had been planning for weeks. If I had wanted to go on a tour with this Itinerary I could’ve easily booked one for over $100 less. I paid more because I knew what I wanted. I reached out to both the tour operator and Viator for a partial refund or credit but was denied. They also changed the description of the tour after I complained, but still refused to offer any compensation.
