A superb Terezin visit. - A superb trip with fantastic guides who were very knowledgeable throughout. All on time, no problems, Terezin was great to experience, to see and to try to understand what happened there. Would suggest people visit to understand this important time in history.

Good value for a 1/2 day tour. Powerful place. - Good tour for the price. The tour's guide had general knowledge. The guide at the small fortress was excellent. We were a little rushed through the museum in the ghetto, but I think that was because they have shorter hours off season. This is a worthwhile place to visit that is real and powerful.

Avoid Our Tour Provider, But Be Sure To Visit This Important Site - This is an extremely important site to visit for countless reasons, but avoid the tour provider we used (Premiant). The tour was given in English and another language, which is hard to follow if your guide isn't engaging and is just droning on. Our tour guide's English was subpar and it was hard to understand him, when we "understood" him, his presentation was extremely dull, and when we arrived at the Small Fortress, he neglected to tell us basic logistics with clarity (e.g., that we would tour that site with a local guide -- who was OK -- and what time the bus would leave for the Terrezin Ghetto). He split off with the non-English language group, and he yelled rudely at guests who were late to the bus. This was awful. As far as the Small Fortress site, be sure to wear comfortable shoes, be prepared to walk on uneven surfaces, and even through a tunnel (be mindful if you are tall). After the Small Fortress, you will see the Museum, which explains about life in the Jewish Ghetto, and then the crematorium (closed on Sundays and check on other days). These sites are informative and heart-wrenching, and all who are capable and mobile should visit.

Too much walking, do NOT go if mobility challenged - We were incredibly disappointed with the amount of walking required, this was not indicated anywhere on the description but the day totaled near 4 miles. This is a problem because my father walks with a cane and was unable to participate in most of the tour. When we arrived at the grounds, the bus parked and it was a really far walk just to get to the tour. He had to stay behind and wait outside the bus for an hour and a half while we toured. Good thing he stayed behind because the grounds had steep inclines, uneven ground, and we even walked through a dark tunnel system. If you have ANY kind of physical limitation, do NOT do this tour. Then, after the grounds the bus took us to the ghetto museum in town. Another problem, the bus couldn’t pull up outside of the museum to let us out so again we had to park the bus and walk half a mile. Again my father had to stay behind as he couldn’t walk that far. We were allowed time at the museum, then the guide insisted we go to another art museum that wasn’t mentioned in this package that was again a far walk away. By this point the entire group was exhausted and unenthusiastic, many people didn’t even go into the last 2 museums. Everyone just wanted to be home. The guide even wandered off with some people to get ice cream instead of joining the rest of us in the museum. Overall, I found it to be far too much time, it could be half of this if they cut out the last 2 museums. Also, their inability to accommodate my dads disability by pulling the bus up closer to entrances was very disheartening. The guides overall were informative, but not the most interesting to listen to or keep your attention.

Martin tours are below par. Couldn't understand a word the guide said! - Do not choose Martin Tour company!! We wanted an English speaking guide-no one on the tour could understand the guides lousy English. So frustrating! And he tree pushed is through so much that we couldn't read any of the postings in the museum. Terezin was good but our guide ruined the experience. Other’s on the tour said he jumped around and was a terrible tour guide as well. Very disappointed and sent a refund request but NEVER heard back. Total waste of $140.00

Disorganized, chaotic,... - Disorganized, chaotic, frustrating, very difficult to understand English speaker even though it was labeled as an “English speaking” tour. Unexpectedly turned into a walking tour because lack of communication between bus driver and tour guide.
