A highly recommended, fully packed highlights tour of the Oaxaca area - I would highly recommend this tour to all fellow travellers out there! It was a long day, but we covered a lot of ground with our perfect sized group of 11 people and it was well worth it. Hierve del agua was very peaceful at the start of the day before lots of people arrived and the textile making demonstration with natural dyes was a surprisingly highlight. The tour guide was both friendly and very knowledgeable about local history. So glad I took this tour!

Full day and a lot of fun! It’s worth it! - I had a great time on this tour while visiting Oaxaca. I was hesitant at first since it’s a 12-hour day, but we covered a lot and had free time to explore markets, visit a church, or just relax, which I appreciated. Our guide Pavel and driver Ryan were very kind and accommodating. I recommend bringing a backpack with a swimsuit, towel, change of clothes, sunscreen, hat, and a backup phone charger. I was really glad to have a change of clothes, and wearing running shoes helped a lot for the hiking portion—some people wore sandals, which looked pretty challenging. Bring snacks if you want, or you’ll have plenty of chances to buy some along the way. Be prepared to pay 5–10 pesos to use the bathroom at most stops. The buffet lunch wasn’t amazing, but it was quick and did the job. Overall, a full but well-paced day!

A really great all rounder for Oaxaca! - Ricardo and Miguel were great! Such a good day trip where you see and do so much - a great mix of culture, nature, history and of course Mescal! Ricardo spoke good English and so did many at the sights visited. The petrified waterfalls are great, just come prepared to hike so bring snacks, water, SPF and good footwear! Would 100% recommend!

Note there are a lot of opportunities to buy stuff / tip and remember you don’t have to at every point. Still loads of fun and lots of cool stuff to see!!

Wonderful Experience for the Whole Family - We are a family of four—two adults and two boys (ages 7 and 10)—and all of us enjoyed the trip! Richard, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable, and our driver was excellent as well. The places we stopped for textiles and mezcal were authentic and had great prices. We learned so much about the culture and had delicious food. This is a day trip I wouldn’t skip!
