The day we went was a bit... - The day we went was a bit understaffed. So we have to wait for a little while. But all worth it. My son loves the blue/white glowworms! Keep talking about it after getting home.

Great tour - We had a beautiful day for this tour. The trip across the lake to the caves was smooth and picturesque. Staff were amazing and friendly. The cave tour was great and we saw many glow worms. There were some absolutely beautiful waterfalls inside the cave, but you aren't allowed to take pictures. Regardless, it was still a great tour.

Excellent tour of the caves! - We had a great time at the glow worm caves tour. This included a ferry across Lake Te Anau at sunset, the guided tour through the caves with lots of information and a pitch black punting tour to see the glow worms and their larvae, and was followed up with hot chocolate and an informative presentation before being ferried back to shore with the stars beginning to appear. Highly recommend.

Very good - The caves were smaller than I thought but the guide was excellent and we got really close to the glow worms. The ferry trip was wonderful and the crew was great

Enjoyable but overrated - Nice boat ride over the lake to the caves with friendly enthusiastic staff members. It was very dark in the caves unless you were at the front near where the guide had a flashlight. Seeing the roaring water underneath the walkway was cool although there were very few glow worms that lit up the ceiling at this time.
